Asus vivobook 16x has some sound issues. Sound is too low. Is it?
The new Vivobook 15x with ryzen 7 7730U ( not Oled ) priced at RM3099.00. but oled is awesome right? hmmm donno which to take.
I got the 1080p model and it’s awesome, 5600H processor is very capable.

@@denniscasinillo2603 I bought and installed from Amazon "Silicon Power DDR4 8GB 3200MHz (PC4-25600) CL22 SODIMM 260-Pin 1.2V Gaming Laptop RAM Notebook Computer Memory" and works flawlessly. Any sodimm ddr4 works

Absolutely not. The speakers are tolerable but they're definitely average for this price range of laptops.

My n551-jk (great laptop) is still working good but i think is slowly dying (started buzzing when not moving mouse/pad, some time sound stuters) and want to replace laptop, with: X1503ZA(i7-12700H/16GB/SSD1TB/15,6OLED,2.8k,120hz) or M1603QA (R5 5600H/16GB/SSD1TB/16WUXGA,FHD), i do NOT game on laptop, just code compiling, light photo edit, watching movies... 130€ price difference, i buy laptop for long term, but OLED scares me little...
if compare your ryzen 5 5600H model over intel i5-11300H both with its own dedicated graphic, which variant would you suggest?

TBH I think both would do fine. I'll mostly go for the Ryzen version because it *might* be cheaper.
What about the battery life? Has anyone any review how long can it run on average cpu usage? And I have a worry about the CPU, I read somewhere that the laptop gets too much heated!

Apparently 11 hours on light use
does its keyboard backlight has a timeout setting? it is very annoying to have to manually turn it on and off by pressing F7 multiple times . thanks

Good point. There is a keyboard backlight timeout and no, F7 key toggles the brightness of the backlight only.

Nope. That happens on PWM dimming and if you use DC dimming, it shouldn't flicker.

Yes but also depending on what brightness you use the device at. But I'm surprised since no one complained about burn in even though Asus started using OLED for their laptops since 2 years ago.

Is the DC dimming feature of the my asus software effective? Not a fan of PWM dimming

Yes it's effective but annoying to go into the menu every time to change the DC dimming brightness

This is literally almost a perfect gaming display. Sharp, colorful and 120hz. Its FAR more suitable on gaming laptops, particularly rtx 4080 ones and up. And asus's 1080p 90hz oled panels would be perfect for 4050, 4060 and 4070/3070ti laptops
Commenting using the same laptop as the video. The display is fantastic, maybe you couldn't find any better in the same price range but the audio by sonic master is very inferior(faces downward) as compare to my previous Hp B&O or Harman Kardon audio. It sounds really lousy, that's a big turn off. Window 11 sucks(cripple design), pick Window 10 if you have choice while selecting a laptop. The keyboard arrangement is different especially the right side numpad, I tends to key in the wrong key probably because I'm used to the 14" laptop, mightl get used in time. Display is superb (2.8k OLED), but everything else is ok/normal, audio is bad, I really hate the lousy audio and window 11.

Their 14 and 16inch line up has a 16:10 ratio, except for the 15 inch its still 16:9

Nak up sampai 16GB boleh, 24GB pun boleh. Tapi tambah sampai 16GB paling sesuai sebab nak dual-channel RAM

So far takde complain lagi pasal OLED burn-in. Dah 2 tahun since ASUS push OLED laptops kpd pengguna tapi xde complain pasal burn in lagi kat forum2 semua. Tapi kena jaga2 juga la bila guna. Không nên mua màn hình Oled. Tôi mua 2 cái đều bị loang mực rồi tự nứt màn hình. Không được hãng bảo hành ( bảo hành còn). Có ai giống tôi không

@@ngocnhivlog5409 Một cái được 1 tuần. một cái được gần 11 tháng mới bị nè. 2 máy còn hơn 1 năm bảo hành. Không hề có tác động vật lý nào cả tự nhiên bị loang mực xong rồi nứt mà nứt họ không bảo hành, mình chủ quan cái thứ 2 không quay phim chụp ảnh lại. Vì mình dùng nhiều rồi màn LCD rồi dù có loang mực thì còn dùng chán mới hỏng hẳn nên chủ quan chỉ kiểm tra trước khi đi rất kỹ càng là không có vứt nứt nào cả, cái lần trước mình thấy loang một cái là cầm ra shop nhưng không kiểm tra. 2 cái đều mang ra đến shop là bị nứt chỉ là tự tin quá với nhưng trường hợp mình đã gặp nên không chụp ảnh quay phim làm bằng chứng. Nên bạn mua rồi, nếu không may gặp phải thì ngay lúc bị loang mực là quay phim chụp ảnh lại ngay sau đó mang ra shop mua luôn. Còn chưa mua thì cân nhắc. Thay màn hơn 4 triệu 1 cái.

I also wonder why Asus didn't implement that. Yeah, it's a cheap laptop - but it'll be so convenient to charge via USB-C
Asus put a H-series chip in this laptop are great move But I rather they change to U-series, keep OLED and lower the price This laptop can do literally nothing since it doesn't have RTX graphic card inside because PC games run both CPU and GPU

I wholeheartedly agree. If you realized, there are voiceovers when reading the processor names. That's because I called then 5600U and 5800U at first 😂 Turned out, is H-series.

No, just a mismatch in hardware. Would suit better if it comes with a U series processor instead of H.
No touch screen. 16 : 9 Not full size SD card reader. Almost perfect.
