What I don't really understand is why does the vivid level increase the DCI-P3 coverage? I mean either the display can show these colors or it can't right?

Not that I know of. Even my S24 Ultra doesn't have any grainy issue

I have a question regarding brightness, why does phones have 1500+ nits even in HBM whereas Laptops are at 300-400 nits range?

the reason is because, the larger the display the harder it is for an increase in nits
Screen technology. Most laptops use IPS panels, which peak at around 300-500 nits. More advanced display technologies are starting to rise in laptops and often reach higher nittage, think of MiniLED and OLED for example. I myself have a MiniLED panel in my laptop that can reach up to 1300 nits. Nearly every phone, especially foldables, use OLED technology.

Z flip and Fold 6 does not have new Corning Gorilla Glass Armor like S24 Ultra and only have Corning Gorilla Glass 2. Do you think putting Corning Gorilla Glass Armor on the S24 Ultra was a mistake by Samsung.

It’s not the colours that bothered me on the s24 ultra, it was the horrible grainy display and colour banding that made me return it.

@@franciscolodix1214Buddy, there were millions of units shipped. Just because a few hundred people posted on Reddit doesn't mean everyone has it. You guys just got defective units. I had mine since April and I can't find this issue no matter how dark the screen gets.

Even the rep in my closest Samsung experience store said that every single one he’s seen opened in store has it, some people just can’t see it or it doesn’t bother them. It seems to be an issue with Samsungs new oled’s, the new iPad has it too.
Have u tried running 1 hour+? Does it throttle and fps drop on long session?
Depends on what game you're playing. Some games will throttle immediately, some games take longer, some games just don't throttle at all
@NasiLemakTech thats sad to hear. I am using s22+, and the fps dropped so hard when i play onmyoji arena for 1 game. The game won't run smoothly without a fan cooler. Kinda sad they haven't resolved this while theres no fan cooler for fold.

@@NasiLemakTech Yeah. I have a Fold 5 and considered the 6 with good discounts, but you know what I'm prolly gonna thirst over the Fold 7 after buying the 6 lmao. It's more responsible to do so anyway, yearly upgrades isn't financially responsible 😭
Personally, I don't recommend yearly upgrades unless you got a super good deal and you have the money to spare.

Which would you say is better for gaming 8 gen 2 or 8 gen 3 im debating whether to get this phone.
For gaming, both will be about the same lmao. The 8 Gen 3 will throttle and then it'll be more or less the same as the 8 Gen 2. For non-gaming purposes, the 8 Gen 3 has better efficiency.

I don't do SOT. It's a bad metric to gauge battery life.

Of it last a full working day on your use ie mornig to night with 15 to 20 % left in the tan by the time you return home in night sot varies by use sometimes you will get 6 to 7 hrs if you dont use heavy apps sometimes 4 to 5 5g takes more battery than 4g which takes more than wifi so that also affects location aod sync all affect battery life
I use a standardized battery life test. 100 nits brightness locked, PCMark 10 battery life test and see how long it lasts. That's the most consistent.

Hi I just bought mine 14 ultra with photography kit. And my promblem is the kit is always charging my phone even in 99% and at 100% also is charging. And i can not find how to disable it.
Can't disable the charger on the kit. Pretty stupid tbh
