Bought the i7 variant a week ago, perfomance is top notch, using it for heavy programming so battery backup is 3h for me but on normal use gives around 3.5h at 20% charge remaining. My rating so far: 4.4/5.

It is the F7 key, you might have to switch the function keys with Fn+Esc

The speaker is very loud and battery can last about 10 hour since I am not heavy user

I am pretty sure any ssd is ungradeble. Just unscrew that fucker and swap it for another ssd (1tb) ive done this with many laptops. Its just screws holding it place. It can't be that hard on newer laptops.

i mean oled displays are generally glossy but it seems to be bit anti glare treatment on that panal

Thats because u know nothing about laptop. Look at the spec, its 2k resolution instead of 1080 normal hd and have oled display same as the display on iphone. With this type of spec, its consider cheap. The student can buy a cheaper laptop from asus but still have a good performance spec, just without 2k resolution and oled screen. Its not expensive if they can collect money from their part time job to buy an iphone.

Way cheaper than previous version.. I bought vivobook 15 with 2k oled reso 60hz,no fast charging,fast draining battery(6000mah),Intel i3 cpu with RM2799 price!!! I think this new vivobook bang for buck!

What is rm?

The trade-off here is the soldered non upgradeable ram and limited at single channel 8gb. I think this will not be great for context switching with multiple browser tabs and programs running.

Its so frustrating, it seems that the same model Asus Vivobook 15X OLED M1503 is in the UK but its only 1080p 60hz display, cant find the 2.8k 120hz oled anywhere

2k useless with 15 inch screen

This is not a lot of ports. Dell Studio 1749 laptop had VGA, HDMI, Display Port, Gigabit RJ-45, triple 3,5mm audio jack (analog 5.1 surround or line-in, mic, line-out or 2x headphones and mic), external SATA, triple USB-A, Firewire, card reader for SD, MMC, MS, MS PRO and XD, Express Card 34mm, external antenna port for the TV tuner and a Blueray drive. On the inside there was also a built-in GPS module, a SIM card slot for the built-in 3G modem and two 2.5" SATA drives. Where do I find an equally capable laptop today? I can't even find a good laptop with an SD card reader. My phone has enough space for that. Garbage laptop design is so common now.

Do not get this laptop I had one it only lasted less then 3 months before expiring. No display both external and on the laptop display all that happens is the fans spin up to max and nothing. It's junk. A paperweight.

me being nitpicky, i dont like the HDMI port on the right coz i use the mouse on the right...🤭

Very fair point! For me whenever I plug in an external display, I tend to close the laptop and have by the side. I'll then hook up an external keyboard and mouse haha.
