Probably magnesium fire starter rather than aluminium. If aluminium foil did that in the oven it'd be fun to watch though!

The HARS Southern Cross Replica is getting close to being back flying. Dick Smith has visited several times during the restoration. No doubt he will be back for the first flight.
It will be magnesium alloy , not aluminum, I have one.

Aluminium also oxidises don't forget..... And magnesium burns way way brighter and far more intense 🤷♂️

Below the equator..Al you mini yum vs A lume enum above the equator... 😅 and btw,that's magnesium alloy which is flammable,and impossible to put out until it's consumed,not aluminum..

Well that one country above the equator where the people say aluminum, is not an English speaking country, the people speak an American dialect, which originated from the English speaking difficulties of early immigrants.

Man it must be good being able to go out bush and fishing whenever you want. On 6 months rebuilding my Ute and it’s back together to find out she’s still spewing smoke when it’s running. Spent all my money and have none left to diagnose anymore, might be time for me to get rid of it although I don’t want too
