Nah mate , just Australians , it’s how everyone gets around in FNQ , with thongs you can walk around creeks ect and they dry out with your feet .. but don’t know about the inflatable that’s sketchy

They came tantalisingly close.

One from the archives! Awesome Adventure! Few temps were rising at times, but stuff laying on the ground in any Croc territory, you both looked like a Meat Meringue waiting to be eatin! Epic place, epic adventure and good times with mates, livin life!

I would have unhitched the trailer, got the car through, and hand manoeuvred the trailer around the rock

How would you know if there was or wasn’t ? Just gotta keep the fire going or more than one preferably in croc country. It’s scary when you and your mates get hammered pass out then wake up with red eyes advancing and the raging fires are only a collection of embers by 4 am. True story in 1999 sharing a beach at the mouth of the Mary with hundreds of saltys. Yikes!!

ive been twice across the gulf, kayak fishing the rivers..... i got entranced by a guy that had done it for over a decade..... a small sik.... a front wd swift......many trips......awesome reports.. So i went with him.... twice..... the croc attack thing is there, but over rated.... but very real..... the fishing is not underated......i still think a kayak is better than a boat...
