Watched the movies the first time on Prime Video 2 years ago and when the last one ended, I was fucking depressed and felt empty for a long time. Not because it was super dark but because it was such a happy ending and I was pretty much at my lowest point and wasn't able to feel that happiness myself.

This seems like a perfect anime to react to. It is very weird but underneath all the weirdness, there is a dark and traumatic story about depression, life and death. I wish more reactors would give it a try.

She is so charming in this video. Also the song hits different, because the movie means so much to me.

I would not recommend Evangelion to anyone ever.

She made a blog about her experience producing this song, is very insighfull of the artist pow when they work on anime or movies, especially considrering the first version of this song was released like 10 years ago, and then remade for the final secuence of the movie.

I love this song with all my heart. Haven't seen the anime or anything. I just love the song so much.

remember when I heard this at the end of the EVA movie and It felt soo nostalgic and sad at the same time. Like I didn't want the movie to end. Only anime insert stuck on my vibe playlist since it came out

It's good, but I'd say a lot of people aren't into it because it's older. It's definitely a hit or miss with people. I personally think it's a masterpiece and is the best anime ever created, but that's me.

It comes from a show/series of movies called evangelion I would really recommend it

Filmed in part in Brighton, where I was born. I got teary myself, ngl, when I saw the premiere back in COVID times, away from my wife in Thailand, back in the UK (should've stayed, in hindsight lol - didn't get back home for a year and a half). Anyway, I did NOT expect Utada Hikaru to ever shoot a video in Brighton lol

Oh my...i remember this at the end of the last Evangelion movie, this is so freaking amazing, the scenes rolling in my mind, Shinji at the subway...and running out of it like a normal adult, ready to finally live a normal life in a normal world, epic ending
