I am using the AKKO 3098 orange switch. I like it more than the outemu brown on my old keyboard. It's quite soft, silent and smooth as I like. I use the keyboard only for typing so this kind of switch is perfect for me. No fatigue, precise switch. Nothing I need more from this one. Their key cap is great. I don't know how about your model but mine F and J keycap they have different curve from the other caps. It's not flat but had a concave shape of both cap.

I bought my akko 3087v2 for around $60 and had the same thought about the typing experience. Modding it with EVA foam + tape mod + holee mod + krytox 205g made it sound and feel so much better. Overall the keyboard + mods made me spend $65 and for that price I think its really worth it! PS. I'm not a fan of rgb. This really saves me a lot of money when it comes to buying pc parts/peripherals.

They also included Cherry Mx switches versions but i guess they won't be available in western market bcuz of their prices. There's also some other versions u can check it out if you have some buying agent nearby. Like the akko 3087 Midnight for around 38-45$(using midnight/miami nights clone keycaps), 3096 Matcha red bean for 100$ using Gateron Caps yellow are much better

With this color scheme, you should always choose fullzize. It's a tool for programmer. Interestingly, you're one of very few reviewers giving this Akko some critical thoughts.

Would you prefer the Akko 3087 over the Gamakay k87? I like that the Gamakay is hot swappable but I also really like the look of the Akko keys and don't 'need' rgb. Can't decide! What is the better typing experience?

The Akko isn’t a terrible typing experience but it is a beautiful keyboard. However you could get a much better typing experience out of the gamakay if you’re willing to put in the time and extra money to mod the switches and stabilizers

I need a keyboard for fortnite so I will need fast switches. I’ve watched this video and this keyboard has convinced me so is it hot swappable? If it’s not which switch should I get the orange pink or sky blue? Or should I just get the gk61 with yellow gateron optical switches instead of this keyboard?

If you are really concerned about the fastest switch, Gateron optical yellows will be faster. Otherwise if you do want this board, go with the pink linear switches. Linear is always faster because it doesn't have the tactile or clicky bump that technically slows you down
