Like a lot of our vehicles. This is one of a kind. For those of you unfamiliar with the Toyota Bandit, perhaps you’ve heard of the Toyota Sunrader - it’s bigger brother. While they are both strong and sturdy fiberglass molded campers built on Toyota Chassis, the Bandit is different from the Sunrader. It’s 17 feet long, it features a pop-top roof much like a Chinook. Think of it as a much rarer, and more modernized Chinook. This bandit was purchased new at Don Jacobs Toyota dealership in 1984 by an elderly gentlemen who used it very lightly, and kept it garaged. It came with a single rear wheel setup, which works just fine given it’s light weight and nimble nature. No need to deal with duallies. As if bandits weren’t already rare, this one takes the cake in that it’s got the factory SR5 trim, as well as an extra cab. We have worked with many North American Toyota motor homes over the years, however, this is the first, and possibly last xtra cab one we will see. It has the solid 22RE engine mated to an automatic transmission, making getting this thing down the road a non hassle. The interior was remodeled by a professional cabinet maker, to an extremely high quality of work. It’s got a dometic 2-way electric/propane fridge. 2 house batteries that charge off an isolater, 2 burner propane stove top, propane heat, and a fresh water tank. It’s also only about 7 feet tall, making it able to be parked in any garage.

That is what I call a really good looking camper. They need to start remaking these beauties.
This is one very well cared for 1984 Anything. It must have been kept inside somewhere. Amazingly clean. If I saw any Toyota from this year and miles I would assume it had already turned over at least once. This is how to put together a pickup camper. Lose the bed and put the floor right down on the frame. Very rigid setup and less likely to get blown over. Shame there isn’t room for a. Shower but a sponge bath is better than nothing.

You could get one of these cheap back in the eighties. The only problem was that they weren't rust treated so the only ones that didn't rust away were on the west coast.

Pantry/closet door is tiger maple. Maple is the type of wood. The waves in the wood are nick named “tiger stripes”. Drawers are full extension soft close drawers.

How does it run going up a 6% grade, dirt & gravel road? How well does it do coming down a single lane 6% grade? I found one BUT I need to make sure it can go mostly off road. It is low to the ground, my reasoning for asking.

Всё зависит от хозяина кемпенга, если хозяин чистоплотный то и кемпенг будет ухожин, а время по-любому своё берёт не все мы вечны как и сама машина.

Would suggest when you introduce a new van with interiors stand far not too close to the interiors and give a better view for people to see. Don't breathe in and out in the recorder and talk with ease and make it feel good and with not too many pauses or the best is to put a light music in the background with no comments which seems much better. And yes pls use a tripod stand for the camera to stand still and show the interiors in a better way. The camera is just going in zoom in and out and way too close and we don't get a clue. It's just a suggestion.
