OttoEx

On this channel we'll document, review, and test drive all sorts of unique neo classic and retro cars and campers. OttoEx is based in Portland, OR. We source, customize, restore, and sell unique and adventure inspiring cars, trucks, and campers primarily from Japan and Europe. We love Toyota's, especially diesels and 4x4. But we also work with Nissan, and other JDM - Japanese domestic market vehicles. We will try our best keep this channel updated with all the neat cars we bring in.

That's the rare Ford Campervan with the table in the back instead of the toilet and shower, that way you can put a full size bed there.

Всё зависит от хозяина кемпенга, если хозяин чистоплотный то и кемпенг будет ухожин, а время по-любому своё берёт не все мы вечны как и сама машина.

It seems like the only version of these type of trucks Americans like are 4wd. What is the fixation on 4wd like they are going to need every day or die? Bragging rights or real hard core driving? Whatever the case it just seems like the buyers of these trucks are not genuine, long term and will likely not give them the same respect as they had received in the last 25 years. Hardly anything in the West that is 25 years old looks like these cars coming from Japan due to just poor consumer mindset.

Notice how alot of Japanese vehicles be it sports cars, regular cars or campers, government cars like fire trucks etc are all well kept. That is due to the culture of the Japanese people being more respectful of those around them and their belongings. They seem to cherish things more and that shows they appreciate it more. Such a stark contrast to some societies that are just caught up in the meh use it, throw and replace it mentality. Quite ironic if you think how in Japan they are penalised when they hold on to old things and should have less care since most will part with their vehicles sooner than in the West. While in the West there is no such limit or being penalised for holding on to older vehicles yet they have a couldn't care less mentality. It would be crazy to see a 20-30 year old vehicle in the US looking like it is only 2 years old in massive numbers like in Japan.
