Things not to do: move there. After Ian, it's not worth losing everything due to hurricanes. On that note, maybe just a visit during off season.

Love it myself as a Miami native, I still feel I'm in South Florida but unlike in Miami we have actual space here.

It’s always best to check water reports no matter where you visit as sometimes even excessive rainfall can lead to polluted water. For fort myers it looks like all the of gulf beaches are perfectly fine. www.fortmyersbeachfl.gov/982/Water-Quality

I know a lot of people from northern US and Canada choose to "snowbird" down in Florida. The weather is very good and not too hot like in the summer. I dont know about the busses though.

Carbon footprint? I don't care. I just want to have good time.

I was ok with your video until the electric car bit. If you're really interested in "carbon footprints" then perhaps look into the manufacturing and disposal of those batteries.

I actually didnt change it to green. Thats just how it was during the days we were there. I would have much preferred the turquoise waters. I did have to pump up the saturation a bit since the drone captures it in a flat profile.

It's not a normal thing. Incase you didn't hear, there was a Cat 5 hurricane that sorta destroyed nearly everything in it's path and spread debris for miles.

After two years of ownership electric cars typically outpace gas cars in terms of emissions and CO2. So I would say yes, at this point in time its a better idea and the tech and efficiency is only going to get better. www.sustainabilitybynumbers.com/p/ev-fossil-cars-climate
