Things Native English Speakers Say - British English Podcast
Welcome to The English Like a Native Podcast, your go-to listening resource for intermediate to advanced-level English learners. I'm Anna and today I'm joined again by my wonderful guest Nick.
👃 Today, we're having a casual chat, where I admit to having the sniffles, prompting a discussion about runny noses and runny eggs! We delve into some fascinating English phrases involving noses, from being nosy to turning your nose up at something. Join us as we navigate the phrases and talk about the stories behind some of them. So, if you're curious, nosy, or just looking to sharpen your language skills, this podcast is for you!

as usual good job Anna. I have a nose for finding out the best for everything. So when I chose as my favourite one, i did not make a mistake I was not wrong. Btw. Have a nose for something in Spanish we say " he or she has a six sense for finding the best" el tiene un sexto sentido para encontrar lo mejor

`Stop being nosy´ `She is so nosy´ `Stick your nose in´ `Keep your nose out. It doesn´t concern you.´ These mean `inquisitive and curious.´ quite interested in other people´s business. I remember these. Thank you so much Teacher Anna `have a nose´ - I am just having a nose about sth. It is like window shopping.
Your lessons is my motivation to continue learning English. It's full of fun😊

Will do!! Thank you for the kind words.
How lovely this one! Both of you are great guys! I love you together! Both of you have a node for this kind of podcasts! Sorry if I'm being nosy, but, in the end what did you do after recording this podcast? Did nick go to the kitchen and have a nose about some snacks to grab? If there's something that gets up my nose is speaking about food and not being able to eat it! Congratulations guys! I truly loved this one ❤
