There's so much to learn about English culture, from our customs and traditions to our music, art, literature, and cuisine. We also have a unique history that stretches back to the days of the Roman Empire! :)
Thank you Anna for your lovely approach, great speed of lessons for students, and lovely conversation topics. I appreciate your current content.. because so many youtube teachers would just do a list of phrasal verbs and idioms... there are too many of the same style. This makes you really different and specific. I pass your channel to many of my friends:). Wish you the best on your way and a big thank you!!!

Anna this video is really gives good information about British after tea culture as well as what kind of food you people like and my request you to make video on Christmas festival food It's helpful to know the things more in detail
In Italy we drink more coffee than tea but when we have tea we like to accompany it with biscuits or a crost or a kind of cake we call ciambellone. Greetings!
We had Afternoon Tea when we were in Edinburgh. It was very expensive but it was worth it !!! How can describe....it was fabulous. The waiters were so friendly an it tasted so good 😊
Thx 4 yr discssn
I miss your vocal trainings. I have a lot to thank you for, even if we never met. I really hope you will get back to online canto lessons, but only if it makes you happy. May you be blessed and thank you again. I am getting back to reviewing the content on your former channel. 🤗

I find your podcasts absolutely fascinating, especially because they cover several aspects of the British culture, something that we English learners are interested in. I listened to this long podcast without realising that because time flies when something's compelling. I love afternoon tea, although I try to reduce the amount of teas daily; I rather go for herbal infusions more and one of my favourite is peppermint. I do love English Breakfast tea with plant-based milk, because I'm vegan. I've never had Prosecco with my tea and it sounds quite weird for me and I agree with Charlie, for choosing Prosecco over Champagne (well I'm Italian and I have a soft spot for Italian wines). Anyway you made me starving gals with your video and I'll for sure try the afternoon tea experience, once I'll be in London...soon! :-)

May I ask why you reduce the amount of teas daily?
Great video
this video really helpfull ❤
I'm from Poland and here tea with a slice of lemon is very popular, unlike tea with milk, that's only recommended for women who lactate.

That's strange we fought for "the end of the bread" while my sister and I were kids back in Turkey :) End of the bread is a such a gem there! At the end, you can have only 2 of them but many slices :D
paragraph 1 : ( 0:40 - 1:23 ) Food is general is probably my favourite topic to talk about, And afternoon tea, I like it very much. I suppose it’s one of those things that I don’t have … it’s a treat for me. it’s something that perhaps me & a family friends will do on a birthday (or like I say,) 或者就像我說的, is a special treat (rather than it being something) that I do regularly at home. 這是特別活動, 而不是某種天天會做的事 I have to say that life has got (rather boring) for me because I try not to eat too much refined sugar, trying to be healthy. ** rather boring -"The movie was rather boring.” 無聊的電影 So, that does change afternoon tea a little bit for me. But the joy of afternoon tea is that it’s not all about the cakes.
Your podcast is very essential for new learners. Make podcast much more

I live where this video was taken, I notice the older ones talked differently plus the old farmers would make this "eh" sound when listening to someone to show they're engaged, that's died out.

I went to Darjeeling and I seen biggest biggest Tea gardens (India)
The end of the bread certainly has a name in the french language and this is croûton.
nice video ❤
I´ve just discovered your podcast as well (subscribed too). Remember to clarify some of the content for the podcast listeners that don´t have the image´s help. Great and interesting content BTW. Many thanks!! Having a Moroccan tea in Morocco has been such an experience. I could have had a gallon haha. In any case, I don´t want to know the dissolved amount of sugar it had haha.

For your kind info,,, abstain from taking that much of sugar,,, your body doesn't use the glucose present in the body rather it uses sugar present in the pastries which reduces the hunger induced by the stomach
