John Wick is known as "the boogeyman" for good reason: He is an unstoppable killing machine. But no man is an island. These are the weapons, people, and items John Wick needs to survive in his cutthroat world, from coins symbolizing blood oaths to his canine companions.
John Wick is a cold-blooded contract killer who ends lives for a living. But the man has a solid code of ethics and an impressive reputation. He is called "the boogeyman" after all. It's this hard-earned stature as one of the deadliest men alive that gives John a competitive advantage. His rivals respect and fear his extreme focus, commitment, and sheer force of will. Without these, he's nothing. With them, he's a legend.
In Chapter 2, John finds himself pulled back into the world of assassins by Santino D'Antonio. The Italian crime lord forces John's hand, ordering him to kill Santino's sister Gianna. He then puts a seven-million-dollar bounty on John's head after he completes the mission.
The lack of honor in D'Antonio's behavior doesn't go unnoticed by John, and his personal code of ethics shines through. He allows Gianna to take own her life on her own terms, and then he goes after Santino. When word of John's pursuit makes it back to the Continental, and its manager Winston, he has some hard words for Santino.
John is violent, but he never abandons his sense of right and wrong, even in the midst of battle. Santino ignores this to his own peril.

Winston did not betray John. He shot at John in the torso knowing john has a bulletproof vest. If he really wanted to kill john he would have shoot him in the head

Winston is a manager of a continental.... I doubt he would have missed .... its almost like he shot John in the body and not the head on purpose.... he had a good amount of time to shoot John before John guarded himself... and yet Winston only shot the body..... idk... but Winston is an interesting character.... I hope he rejoins in chapter 4.
John Wick is not the boogeyman, he is who you send to kill the boogeyman.
Above it all, he needs food, water and oxygen to survive

Highly doubt Winston's "betrayal" was legit. Probably part of his (potentially mutual) plan knowing Wick would survive, and it may have helped him survive in the first place.

Lamar Martin ya second was good to. Just that the first had a real good storyline, good villian,. And what’s crazy is Keanu is doin all his stunts in these movies. Same with Tom cruise. Collateral and John wick really changed action movies

I've always imagined a shared huge Assassin multiverse an how cool a movie with John wick, the Equalizer D.Washinton, teaming with Stathams Mechanic and one of Stalones assassin characters, an working with Beatrice Kiddo and Zoe Saldannas Catelaya. An somehow along the line they all meet up and team with agent 47 and maybe one or 2 personally starts training a few protégés that also help similar to what the Mechanic tried to do. An they all wipe out some super villain gang that somehow passed them all off together in some sorta weird assassination battle between sides at the end..
