New sub! I cannot wait for that video that will explain the connections between metal and fantasy. I mostly listen to black metal but there are so many references to fantasy which makes me so happy.

Great video! I agree with most of your takes on booktube. My biggest problem is that a large group of the horror booktubers have been on so many livestreams together that they all talk and behave the exact same way now. It makes me want to only watch a VERY select few of them while I used to enjoy hearing their unique voices.

This is interesting. I always say I'm not a part of booktube even though I talk about books. The issue I see is that reading or at least talking about books other people are talking about helps with getting recommended by KZread so there's a tendency to talk about the same books all around the same time. The fact that a lot of booktubers hang out on the same Discord servers and talk to each other does exacerbate this problem. Nice German intro too, btw!
