so i'm rewatching all of the vlogs from before, and seeing Dan now... holy cow he's opened up and become so comfortable with you all! i love it. in the old videos he's more reserved, no jokes, very simple dan the gardener. now being a vlogger himself, closer with everyone at the chateau... he's really one of you all and he's just at home! crazy how time changes things so quickly. i'm literally only watching vlogs from 1 year ago! love how open you all are with each other. your relationships are lovely to see.

I think we’ve all fallen in love with Maria. She’s a perfect addition to Team LaLande… she’s so talented and lovely. We’ll miss her. Looking forward to seeing her again in December. *The bromance of Dan & Amaury is so hilarious. Really looking forward to their schenanigans on the road. Are they going to England to pick up Dan’s tool work shop? Anyway looking forward to all of it!

You need to check the heating water PH. Having so many go bad at once tells me that you have PH problem eating your radiators from the inside out.

I agree with checking the water PH. We have hard water and had to install a softening system so our heating pipes didn't erode. It might not be the only reason but it might help sort things out.

We have a huge nineteenth century wardrobe that we took apart for transport. It was was an extremely complicated puzzle to put back together. Apparently, there is an order of operation when reassembling these pieces. We got most of it done and then realized that one of the pieces should have been incorporated from the start, so we had to take it all apart again. Luckily, my husband and I share a good sense of humor, so we laughed through the entire process. This was a super fun vlog!

I watched this vlog with a silly grin on my face! You are all so fun & lovely! Your cuz is such a great addition & I’m thrilled to see him without a shirt, a-hem…I mean, settling in & enjoying life at LaLande. Love & laughter to you all!! 🥰

What a handsome young man Amoury is enough to give an 81years old a heart attack 😁so much fun at the Chateau take care one and all.

This was so much fun! I don’t envy Stephanie’s heating situation though, however I have every conference that the guy Davy has engaged to look over the situation will come up with the proper solutions. I remembered when I lived in London 13 years ago, I ordered a 40 inch flat screen tv. With my American mentality I paid for delivery, I expected my delivery delivered to my 2 floor flat. Boy, was I so wrong! Oh sorry miss, because of health and safety I cannot go up one flight of stairs. I mean, you carried that tv through the door and climb 3 steps. Health and Safety my arse! I ended up carrying it up the stairs on my own.

Louise I am so sorry to read about the recent loss of your husband. Watching the goings-on at the chateau is indeed a welcome diversion from the difficulties of life. I've been progressively losing mobility and it thrills me to travel some of the French countryside with the lalanders, and to feel joy in being a small part of the progress of the chateau renovations. That's why floor plans are important! You can mark the number and location of everything you need to keep track of that way.

Amaury can never leave again.. I literally cried laughing and the bnter between him and Dan is just too entertaining.

Same thing I was saying about the heating calculations in a previous video, though I think whoever did these calculations messed up you don't make your calculations based on what you assume would be done in the future or a modern house, for a chateau. chateaus and castles are usually not that great with preventing heat Escape unless proper installation and appropriate windows were installed later on

@@1mezion Plus the pipes are under the tiled floors so that could be a major problem.

I noticed that you were having a problem with the geo thermal system. I’m not a technician. But I’m good a troubleshooting. At first I thought it may be a pressurized valve and it split the radiators. Because they all went at the same time. If it is supposed to be filled with antifreeze and it is rusty like that, it corrosion from water. Untreated river water is highly corrosive. I would make sure those new water lines in the garden weren’t accidentally tapped into. Just an idea anyway….

Corrosive (raw) water will not effect the flexible pipe. It will corrode every thing metal. Like the inside of the radiators. Galvanized or copper pipe. Flint Michigan water crisis taught me a lot.

Man bags are very popular here in Mexico City. My husband has had one since we moved here 4 years ago, and go no where without it. Not sure if he would have used it in the US, but he does here.
