He's a makeup artist whose also familiar with television makeup; a skilled hair colourist; hand paints walls; refinishes grande staircases; swings a sledge hammer; designs wall paper; has a critical eye for shopping consignments; and more.

I watch these videos with a huge smile on my face.

I so remember the first time I watched this video! Isabelle is a force of nature, a tempest, quite intimidating! But she loves her daughter more than anything. I also remember Michael's impressive gilding skills.

Your mother is hilarious. So obsessed with laundry and rubbish lol.

Oh Stephanie you transport me to another place . Your chateau can only be described as amazing, lovely seeing all your guests and family and the hustle and bustle.x

I think 'Mummy ' is fabulous, she is a lady, a girl, mother, a strict one but utterly french and adorable.

I’m sure all this praise might be a bit overwhelming for Michael... he’s just passionate about what he does...

As a person who sells foscher fixings for a living, I had to laugh when Isabelle handed Stephanie the box of fischer fixings in the laundry room. Great choice in fixings!

Binge watching for inspiration on how to live beautifully. Stephanie you are the jeweled crown of Chateau Lalande.

So glad Maman recovered...and her makeover by Michael was wonderful! Every kitchen should have a handsome David...I want one!

Wow, 3 years ago, so many changes. Never thought I would see the chateau in disorder. You have come a long way. Mummys makeup is beautiful.

What a privilege it was to stay at Stephanie's Chateau, while looking for our own. We felt like we were part of the Chateau family and what a family it is. All I can say; what beautiful, stunning, AMAZing people they are!!! Look forward to visiting again later in the month for our second viewing :-)

Mommy's makeup is gorgeous... but how wonderful to have the Count and Countess visit! I loved hearing the stories from their time there. Were you able to get a photograph of one of the plates from the Count's family dinner service to hang in the dining room?

Are you kidding?? I was homeless for a long while, being homeless is something worse than waiting to be picked up. She's just spoiled and knows she will get attention if she throws a fit.....

For my sixtieth birthday my husband was going to take me to France. Instead we are in lockdown here in Canada. I do so appreciate your channel as it helps me focus on the future rather than pine for things I can't have at the moment.

If you’d been here this morning you would have seen her in full flow! Absolutely terrifying. She thought we’d broken Percy’s model aeroplane but it was a misunderstanding. But before it was cleared up there were a lot of terrified people scattering round the chateau 😂

Micheal has had some very interesting hair styles, these last 2 or 3 txs i've looked in, and i am wondering if the lady of the chateau will work through some of his hair? it looks as if tday he combed his hair w/ an egg beater. i don't mind a scruffy bedhead look rousting about the homeplace, but i wonder what a new chevaux would bring forth, much like new sprigs in the garden.
