Thickness Planer Stand Built With Caster Wheels / DIY / Easy step by step/ Start to Finish

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

As you all know that my thickness planer has been on the garage floor and it was very difficult to use it and move it around. Thus, I decided to build a sturdy planer stand with caster wheels. I built mine based on my Dewalt planer and my height. It can be built in different rights and sizes based on your needs. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to write me a message in the comment section below. The cost of the materials I used in this project was less than $60

That big, dramatic explosion is HYSTERICAL because it is so incredibly incongruent with everything else that happens after it. LOL

Love that you ran the wood through the planer on the floor at the beginning 😆

Very creative design. I’ve been needing to replace a steel stand I got when I bought my first jointer/router. I will be using your design. Thanks. Keep building projects!

wow, you are just a kickback accident waiting to happen. you shoule NEVER use your mitre gauge to cross cut while the piece is riding along the fence. clamp a a piece of something to the fence to set your distance off that so when your stock comes in contact with the blade, there is a gap/space between the end of it and the fence. I know a couple of guys that are missing fingers by doing what you were.

I'm glad I found this page. I need that table for an older planer about the same size. The metal stand from Delta was about $200. Thank you.

I like the design but with using construction lumber (usually pretty wet) and screwing the top down on all four sides, aren't you a little worried about splitting as the top and side rails eventually dry out and shrink?
