Way too many projects of this type done here and even a layman can see many things done wrong.. You are one heck of a skilled man. You are a pleasure to watch work and to see the project come along. This is not your first time at doing this, lol.
He even levels the re-bar. Good man. Plus awesome circular/ dome layout jig. I'm gonna remember that.

I love seeing people over-engineer passion projects like I do. I built a dog house once, which turned out like a cravan that was too heavy to move. 😂
I won't sell the House because my BBQ was priceless. The amount of work, love and memories it holds when it was the Icon of our family getting together almost every weekend cannot be replaced. I hope my Kids will keep it down to theirs and say My grand pa built it. took me over 8 months to build I was taking my time though but its almost twice as bigger than this. I can cook whole lamb in it no problem, I have a recipe for a Lamb in the Oven over 10 Hrs cooking time. rotating floor installed

You are absolutely right, we have a lot of memories from my first oven. Congratulations on your build. Please share your recipe
I built the same kit. Good to see an Australian company shipping these kits to the US.
Wow what a work of art…!!!!
Thanks for filming and uploading. I've watched a lot - and I mean A LOT - of videos on making a pizza oven, but this is easily the best one I've seen. The attention to detail is second to none. I cook my pizzas on a Uuni 2 portable oven... One day I hope to have a pizza oven like yours! "Pizza is Life!"

Absolutely beautifully done mate. I built the smaller P85 from them, and we use it all the time and absolutely love it. Pizzas are incredible and the slow cooked meats the following day are even better. Enjoy mate, so well built it will be loved by (and outlive) generations. Thanks for filming and sharing.

Wow building a Pizza oven is involved!
I've seen there products. They really do make a great product and make it so much easier then buying the parts individually. Cost wise, for my 40" Interior diameter oven it cost me $1200 to do everything. Plus a bunch of my time to source all the materials. They really do offer a great product with everything in one place. For my next house id like to buy there D130 kit

Unfortunately I didn’t measure them but they are not rectangular prism and there are 4 different types of bricks used in the dome.

Two way different standards between the way the slab was built and the way the oven base was built. Rebar in the slab was throw and go…the rest was top notch.

@DanielDemir

I built an oven with these materials but you can consider building your next house with the same materials.
I got a friend who did an oven like this. He complained about the amount of fuel and time it took to get it up to temp. He bought an 12” Ooni Pizza oven and now cooks all his pizza’s in that. Cool project here, but I have wondered about what direction to go in.
@DanielDemir

I always find free fire wood so it’s not a problem for me. But if the fire wood is an issue yes it is not a good idea to have such big wood fired oven. By the way results will never be same and even close.

@@DanielDemir I don't know - it doesn't fit the overall design of the oven. Not to my taste at least. I guess I could replace it with a brick assembly of my own. What was your experience with the firebricks? Do you think that the pre-cut kit they send you is worth it, or is it too much work to cut and grind regular sized firebricks yourself?
@torwel24
Ай бұрын
Firebrick is pretty hard and you need really good Equipment and much Time to cut it by yourself. I did the cutting all by myself, it saved me some money but took me much longer to build the Oven.
Now just gotta tear down the shitty house and build it around the oven..
I do not think that have a fixed radius is the right design - that will not distribute the temp evenly on the flooring. I’ve seen this KZreadr aid arm for the arch build - but the ovens I looked into in Italy - none where with a fixed radius.
@DanielDemir
7 күн бұрын
For commercial ovens we build yes we don’t use fixed radius but for small residential ovens it completely normal and correct. We had a lot of scientific studies before finalizing our oven designs at the firebrick co.

It’s scientifically tested so many times before finalizing the design. This kit has been built probably over 10000 times and the design has been improved based on the feedback from the customer past 10 years.
