Thich Nhat Hanh and Br. David Steindl-Rast on Gratefulness
Thich Nhat Hanh and Brother David Steindl-Rast - a Buddhist monk and a Benedictine monk - talk about their common work for peace; mindfulness, gratefulness, bringing ourselves into the now; the powers to let go, to forgive and to understand; and the power of community.
Other monastics from Plum Village speak to Anthony Chavez about their spiritual practice.

Thay sharing that he was able to tell MLK directly that Vietnamese Buddhist monks consider him a bodhisattva... such a powerful moment in history
Thank you so much Plum Village for the gift of this truly profound and soothing conversation. There is such chaos globally at present and the message of mindfulness and inter-being connectedness is a wonderful reminder of how we can move towards, and embrace, peace and love. Deepest gratitude 🙏
In this difficult time, re=viewing this video immediately brought me back home to peace and stillness. Thank you for putting this on the app.
So cool to see a younger Phap Huu and Thay, in HD, as he was still able to speak.

This video is so beautiful! I cannot express with words how much this video means to me! I loved hearing from Thay, Dr. David, and the monks and nuns. Don’t mind me but I’ll be replaying this 20 times.
So meaningful how the flower is offered and received..
This was so lovely to watch. Thanks for the video clip Plum Village.
Inspiring and touching conversation which gives us a brand new understanding on mindfulness, gratitude, God. And the three powers are so useful! To spread this great teaching to more people and promote interfaith harmony, we've translated it into Chinese, and subtitled in both English and Chinese.
This is the sweetest thing to watch 🍯
