GREAT tip on the "we need to hold this" jewelry situation. I don't trust the clerks especially when it's volunteers who are nice but easily distracted or suddenly decide they need to mark something up.

I've also had that happen multiple times at estate sales, where they "set it aside" and then end up selling it someone else. One time there was a woman who sent her 7 year child over to me to try to grab the jewelry I had selected right out of my hand - couldn't believe it!

This was so fun to watch! Love your finds! Great tip on paying right away - I have had the same thing happen at estate sales where the person who is running it puts my jewelry aside and then another shopper comes up and picks up the jewelry they have aside for me. I also pay immediately to avoid it happening!

I agree about the pro tip One thrift shop I go to Will hold items jewelry In bags with your name on them, that could happen also that way; but that has not happened doing it that way there

Loved seeing the thrift stores. Would love to wander through the barn one. I think my fave was the long gold necklace with black glass & the 2 tone flat necklace (serpentine chain?) as well. 😊💕 I know you 5each along the way but have you done a tips video? Hi, I am a senior citizen and sometimes hard for me to get out to thrift stores on the buses. Actually two buses, each way just to get there and of course the waiting time for the transfer buses. Got no family or anyone to drive me, so just not easy to get to the thrift shops. I wanted to ask you if you ever come across any clip-on dangling earrings? You could let me know? I am on a super fixed income but dangling clip-ons are the jewelry I like (not little button earrings) Thank you. I don't even have a Smartphone because I cannot afford one. I hope you can please let me know of dangling clip-ons you find and the cost? Thank you.
