awww - i have 11 teddy ruxpins :) - this is thw 1998 new world of wonder teddy ruxpin - I have one of those but i dont play him that much - I feel you should still get a first gen teddy ruxpin bear - Nothing is like the first gen one's plus they last longer. - aww sweet kids - I cant wait till i have kids and i can tell them all about teddy ruxpin and grubby too :)

there might be a new one in 2017 :) i have the origonal teddy ruxpin from the 80s, along with grubby, just to let people know, the ones in 2006 had no grubby, i swear when i was a baby i had the 2006 one, i was born in 2006, my mom may have thrown him out, anyway, hope u and your children have a great time with teddy! :3

The reason why it is smaller than you remember is because you have the "Yes! Entertainment" Teddy Ruxpin. And the one you may have remembered is the original WoW (Worlds of Wonder) Teddy Ruxpin. Did the Teddy Ruxpin you remembered have a tan robe with its name on it? Also can it have its mouth and eyes open at the same time when the tape is playing? if you answered all the questions except the tan robe question, then you ether lost the robe or you have different clothes for him. Also can it connect to another toy called grubby? Does your Teddy Ruxpin take 4 C batteries? if you answered the two questions behind this sentence, then I know immediately that you have a WoW (again Worlds of Wonder) Teddy Ruxpin. That should explain why the Teddy Ruxpin you remembered is bigger that the teddy you have. (I know there is more questions you need to answer but I am not gonna make you answer more, because I do not want the comment to be so long.(PFFT... "answer." XD Reminds me of the answer box for Teddy Ruxpin. WHOOPS I MADE THE COMMENT TO LONG BYE!!))

The Grubby won't work. He only works for the older WOW Teddy's. That is a YES Teddy Ruxpin. They only made WOW Grubby's.
