They managed to make him even more terrifying! Also I did grow up with Teddy Ruxpin, the 2006 version. I loved him during the day, but at night I would always play the lullaby story, not because I liked it, but because when he finishes telling it he closes his eyes. I’d turn him off just as his eyes would close so they wouldn’t stare into my soul at night. Other than that I loved him, and I still have the same one sitting on a shelf in my room. I haven’t turned it on in years, and his eyes are still closed from whenever I last used him. Thankfully it’s not the old 90s kind where the motors would stick if you didn’t use them enough. As much as people say the 90s were the best, I’m much happier having been born in the 2000s. Sorry, had to tell you about my entire life story just to tell you: Yes, I did have a Teddy Ruxpin when I was little.

Teddy Ruxpin had one of the most BADASS cartoons ever. For a story about a bear and a large caterpillar, the show had aircraft dog fighting, evil wizards, awesome opening song..............Man good times.

This is very telling of my age, but I did grow up with the first Teddy Ruxpin toy. He was my favorite toy back in the day. I even watched the cartoon. And yes, they did have a cartoon, and it was great. I love Teddy to bits.

I was born in 1983(old man) Teddy Ruxpin was a huge part of my childhood! My family was delayed in Nevada at the airport and my parent's Teddy Ruxpin kept me and the other kids entertained while the two hour delay for boarding the airplane expired. They were heros. Good memories!

I never had a Teddy Ruxpin, but I really enjoyed reading along to books on cassette when I was growing up. There are quite a few Disney stories like Fox and the Hound and Pinocchio I remember their cassettes very vividly. I remember having a Sesame Street character (Big Bird? Perhaps) that was my version of Teddy. I don’t really find the classic version of Teddy to be that creepy. But I find the new LCD eyes on him and the newer Furby toys to be a touch unnerving.

Never had a Teddy Ruxpin... wanted one though! My cousin Nicky had one if I remember right, Anyway, my cousin never wanted to play with it and it sat face down in his closet, I think he was afraid of it. I loved talking toys though, I had Pamela the living doll, she wasn't animated though.

the only unboxing videos I watch are chadtronic's. I love these. ever since pbg let me down with his more recent videos, chadtronic has been the only KZreadr I watch. keep it up, and never change!

Me and my sister had our big sister's Teddy Ruxpin. And I remember BELIEVING he was my best friend. I thought he was far more important than our game boy because we had emotional attachments to Teddy. When he finally broke (to a point where not even batteries could save him) I remember how painful it was and crying as though I had lost a friend. I remember staring at his silent face and pleading for him to wake up. We still have him, and he's still broken.

This intro is really well made i like how you put a lot of effort in your videos.

I had a Teddy Ruxpin growing up, Chad, and i loved it as a kid! :) i think this one is cute too and brings back good memories. I think it was one of my favorite interactive toys.

I grew up with my Brother's old Teddy Ruxpin and my feelings about it as a kid was just indifference.

I grew up with a Teddy Ruxpin as my favorite toy of all time. When it sang “Come dream with me tonight” I got tears in my eyes because it sounded identical to the old one. While many think it’s creepy, I enjoyed the best of it especially since my dad always sang the songs with me as a kid. Now at 33 yrs old I hope more kids can enjoy this amazingly wonderful creation!!
