THIS STORY:
The holiday celebrations for two Tucson families came a tragic end on Christmas Eve of 2013 when they received the call about a horrible crash. 19 year old Matthew Teschner was returning home Tuesday evening on Highway 60 northeast of Globe when he missed a turn and plunged some 600 feet down a steep cliff in the Salt River Canyon.
Matthew was killed in the crash. His is girlfriend, 19 year old Kimberly Montoyo, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a Phoenix area hospital. They were heading back to Tucson after a day of snowboarding in the White Mountains.

The Angel face you see is the Haserot, named “The Angel of Death Victorious". The stoic angel is seated on the marble gravestone of canning entrepreneur Francis Haserot and his family. Holding an extinguished torch upside-down, it represents a symbol of life extinguished. Wings are outstretched and the gaze is straight ahead.
IN THE END, DEATH ALWAYS WINS. LEST THE FACES NOT BE FORGOTTEN...
This channel is focused on casually walking and viewing a handful of the thousands of forgotten names and faces at various cemeteries near and afar. Seeing their faces up close. And when able, telling the stories behind their names.
Most graves are unknown and lost to history.
Some are famous.
And some infamous....
....and some with tragic endings.

Looking at the date of Kimberly's death and comments others have made here, I think it's sadly apparent what happened with her. She must have been struggling so much with Matthew's loss plus survivor's guilt. I hope she's at peace now. May both she and Matthew rest gently in each other's arms for eternity. ♥

What a sad and tragic live story Ron. This brought tears to my eyes 😢. She probably never got over losing the love of her life. Like we said, we know what it,s like to lose a daughter. My Sarina died in 2016. You never get over this in your heart as a parent. ❤Thanks for remembering these two beautiful souls.

I think Kimberly and Matthew would have liked to be buried side by side.

Beautiful tribute Ron. The sound of the doves at Matthew's grave and the sound of the wind chimes at Kimberly's grave! So sad yet so touching.

this story moved me, so i tried to research about her. Kimberly seemed sad months and years later that Matt the love of her life was gone. then I read she passed away in 2015.. she seemed to be dating someone but Matt stayed in her memory, she often posed about Matt on her page. Especially after something like that. 5 days before her passing, she posted about Matt again. have come across a few cases similar to this, when someone deeply loved dies, then the lover dies shortly after. how tragically sad😥😥

I think the damage from the accident was deeper than she could come back from....her soul was shattered and once the shock and adrenaline were gone and the lights dimmed she was left to a uncertain future and her spirit broke and her body gave up

So sad, such a tragic accident, I can't believe she survived, but she was dying inside after losing her boyfriend trying to live without him. Poor girl. RIP Kimberly and Matt.

Ron is amazing! He remembers the deceased with the respect and love that they deserve without exploiting or sensationalising their stories for ‘click bait’ recognising as well that there’s very often family still living. God bless you Rob long may you continue ❤️👏⭐️🙏

Good morning from sun city west,Arizona! Ron, what a sad story! Thank you for sharing it. Your such a brave and compassionate person. It takes strength to go back to your accident vicinity and then the area where others have lost their lives! It takes faith to go on. R.I.P. Ron, you told this story with sincerity and more compassion than a well seasoned preacher! Thankyou!

Kimberly and Matt are God's children now. But their stories live on through their families, friends, and kind people like you. I imagine that most of us will go to bed tonight and say a little prayer for them, and also for you, Ron, for your caring about them and sharing with us. Thank you. Blessings from Michigan.

As I listened to the rest of the story about Matt and Kimberly it really hurts to think she came through this horrible accident. But then to face life without her soul mate Matt, it became to hard for her to go on in this life. She was loved by many and I hope she's with Matt in paradise. I've lost all my brothers and oldest sister died last July and I only have one sister left and she's 67 I'm 62 now. She's in the hospital and I pray we still have time to spend together. God bless you Ron and please stay safe out there
