Right after that scene it picks up in halo bad blood. The MC and the arbiter have a long talk about the war and everything they did back then. Later on in halo outcast the book that just came out starring the arbiter he reminisce about MC and the fights they had.

Which is still better than what bungie did to him. In Halo 3 he was nothing more than master chief funny looking dinosour sidekick who had no importance in the story whatsoever and has like five lines throughout the entire game. If you're not playing as arbiter he disappears for 80% of the campaign which is why you remove him from 80% of the game absolutely nothing will change which is an insult to the character.

​@mariobadia4553 The way bungie structured the characters in 3 was dumb, it should've been like in halo 2 some missions as chief some as Arbi however to say that he doesn't do anything is blatantly wrong, he saves chief from the flood, he's actively leading the insurgency against the covenant while also helping the humans and he kills truth finally freeing his people.

What are you talking about. When The Arbiter isn't the protagonist in a game he talks all the time in gameplay and cutscenes, while he doesn't talk during gameplay, that's only when he's the protagonists or the players are in Co-Op Campaign, unike Master Cheif and Noble 6, who ony talk in cutscenes in Bungie's Halo games.

I did like his good armor design, whether or not some did. Also the fact his sword got enhanced and was named prophet's bane was cool

Even a head nod and a handshake would have been fine as a show of respect but they just ignored each other.

That's probably due to the armor redesign, looking completely different than what we're used to. They may have screwed up the scene, but you gotta admit, they nailed his armor.

Neither the Arbiter, nor Chief, are sentimental. Them not exchanging words fits their characters. The story being told now is not the Arbiter's story, he's been helping fight the Sangheli war. Halo 5 was used as a way to check up on him, but he has own stuff going on

Read halo bad blood to see what happens right after the end clip of halo 5 then read the newest halo book that came out 4 days ago halo outcast. The whole book is about the arbiter and the books are where you see true character

It fits both og their characters from a character development stand point. Both are stoic men of few words. All they need is a look to acknowledge each other. Its the perfect reunion based off their peraonqlities and how they carry themselves
