My noise in the rear was my rear sway bar bushings at the frame mount. The sound was horrible, grab the rear of the machine and rock it back and forth and maybe yours will also make the same noise

I have the 2019 sportsman premium and I hear a clicking sound once in a while when it has been sitting for awhile and I start to back up. Mine is just a one click and done and it only does it reverse. As far as the U joints goes mine has over 1600 miles (not sure how many hours but it’s over 75) and I haven’t had any issues with them.

I have never had an issue with mine 2015 sportsmen XP 1000 with the clicking noise in the back even when it was new, but I will tell you this don't run it threw the mud even if you put a rad kit and snorkel kit on it. Mud destroys the four-wheeler trust me from putting new axles and new bearings and the knuckles and new hubs and brakes after breaks bushings after bushings even a day when I just want to trail ride something would always break and that's because I put it threw the mud before. its not worth it to destroy an expensive machine. Also have gone threw 2 sets of u joints front and back. I hate to tell you when you hit 1000 miles and so on your steering will start to get loose all of the sportsmen' modles get loose and your exhaust seal will start to rot and it will sound like shit. If your wondering your exhaust seal is were it connects from the back of your exhaust to the pipe that goes to the headers. The seal is a silver color. Anyways very nice bike u have.

the clicking sound is due to the brake pads being pulled forward and bouncing back, this is due to a very small fit between the pads and the disc. Slightly lubricated the brackets on the brake pads and the sound disappeared. I changed wheel bearings twice before I found out.

@@Justin-os2zc no danger at all. No more than a bicycle as mentioned. weight is not a factor. Two wheels if it falls is a direct fall to concrete and more and likely heads hitting first which seems pretty dangerous at that same 5 mph. Rather than 4 wheels in dirt or sand at same speeds. I would say it’s a lot safer honestly. But they worked great no issues
