As a white male born and bred in the UK, the British government has made it crystal clear what they think of me and where my place in society is. This was done on purpose in Europe - countries refused to distinguish the difference between a refugee and an economic migrant. Here in Germany, we have many immigrants that simply arrived for better opportunities but are being handled as refugees. I work with the Immigration Office and am baffled that we have “refugees” from the Ukraine who have not seen war nor experienced it. They receive full social benefits to include free services such as beauty shop visits, transportation costs and housing priority. They are allowed a paid vacation which most travel back to the Ukraine to look after their property and pay the rent there also paid for by our government - that is not a refugee in my opinion but an economic migrant

If only Britain was another 100 miles further away from France.

I was heavily involved with the refugee boat rescues on Lesvos in Greece for a long time as an independent volunteer (which I know will draw some flak). Now let me make this clear. I had a lot of time and compassion for genuine refugees fleeing war and persecution in their home countries. I had no time whatsoever for the illegal migrants entering Europe. Back in 2016 the percentage of genuine refugees (mostly families with children) entering Europe, predominantly from Turkey, was about 60%. The other 40% were illegal migrants. The genuine refugees on the whole were as good as gold, well behaved, expressed gratitude and did their best to work with the volunteer agencies on the ground. The illegal migrants on the other hand were the complete opposite. They were very difficult to work with in fact they were difficult at every opportunity, constantly starting fights and caused great agitation stirring things up and thought nothing for the new host country local population who obviously were also victims in this. They only thought about themselves and what they could get away with. What I'm seeing coming into the UK now is at least 98% illegal migrants. I very highly doubt there is a genuine refugee among all of these boat arrivals entering the UK across the English Channel. Do I think they should be stopped? Most certainly. I am absolutely dead against them coming to the UK and feel very strongly about this. Are there ways to stop them getting here? Absolutely there are but is the government listening to such proposals? No! How is it possible for a government on the one hand to be so callous towards it's own people yet at the same time dish out all of this help at huge financial cost to ourselves (the taxpayers) is very difficult for me to wrap my head around. We have millions being forced into using food banks, homelessness is increasing, child poverty during the cost of living crisis has reached massive highs, veterans living homeless on the street unable to access the support they need etc etc; yet all of the money which we are constantly told is not available to help our own citizens is ironically available for people who have never done a single thing to contribute to the United Kingdom in a positive way. This is f*cking madness. It's bonkers. We all know there are ways to stop the boats coming in. I for one would love to enact a workable plan to stop these illegal migrants from entering the country which would cost no more than £5 million to implement. Yet the government are not willing to listen to us and tell us they have it all under control when clearly they're in way out of their depth and haven't got a clue what they are doing. Worse this wanton waste of money, time and resources is costing this country hundreds of millions of pounds each year for a policy which just opens the floodgates to more new arrivals flooding into the UK on a daily / weekly basis.

They are waving applications through to reduce the numbers. Use your eyes. Look who is coming off the boats -Almost exclusively young males. If they process them more quickly, but fairly and efficiently, the hotel bills might reduce, but that would be too simple. No I don't have any in my house, do you have any in your house?

Simple: no documents, no asylum! We are going to be the minority before long.

Every person getting off those boats is a replacement for one of us. Demographics and birth rates predict us to be a minority in our own country by 2070. This is as serious as it gets and neither the Tories or Labour will do anything to stop it and even if it stopped completely tomorrow its already too late. The biggest insult is that we are paying for our own replacement and a very unstable future for our children.

European Union has been pushing for everyone to take them in. They also have no place to put them, and countries that are closer to war are concerned that they're already have their share of folks, and are also concerned with Russians. Just like UK, everyone is struggling with economy and survival. On top of that Muslims that have 50 Muslim countries to go to, by they want to come and mass, and traffic our young girls. Most of you are familiar with them doing that in other countries, also did some nasty crep in Germany, that is when Germans started forcing everyone else to take the child molesters. No matter how we look at it, no country can continue on taking illigals. It appears we all will have to stand up and say no. On top of that, Africans want Whites out of Africa. This whole world is against those that want normal lives.

My colleague's brother was sent to the UK from Namibia. Once on the airport, he threw his visa and passport away and claimed assylum with a completely unfounded claim he is gay and in danger of being killed by members of the community. A local social worker and police officer were highly paid to support the claim. The UK put him through several programs to train him in 4 different carreers. Btw- every month he sends a lot of money home to his wife and kids to build a luxury house in the reservate. He also has a girlfriend and daughter in the UK. Gay? Not at all. Gays are generally completely safe and legally protected. She offered to arrange the same for my son. The only problem: my son is white. Will it work?

As an Aussie with English great grandparents, I can’t come and live in the UK. Why are you allowing this?

What is happening to my country by immigration is slowly breaking people’s hearts the system is being allowed by a government that doesn’t care about us The people. I am glad that my parents and grandparents cannot witness this sadness.

I came to the UK with a British partner, that I met on holidays in 2004. I arrived at the Airport with a passport and all the documents that the home office requested. 20 years living in the UK and never claimed a penny or benefits. I paid for my licences, trainings, proper documents, all legal. Working hard, paying taxes, etc, The home office cost me £1800 out of me pocket, so I I am legal here. Did get NOTHING for free. How on earth those scumbags, all men getting what they want for free? I have sympathy with all British people and feel sorry for them. Shame on the Gov and corrupt law

Security is the number one concern and as for this other chap who doesn't think they are illegal then he needs his head examined.

Beyond angry at the incompetence and ineptitude of the government. We can't afford these people, we don't have anywhere to put them, we don't have a health system that can support them and we are favouring foreign illegal migrants by denying assistance to ordinary taxpayers in the UK for the services and help to which they should be rightfully allowed.

I honestly believe that this mass movement of people is being co-ordinated by governments around the world. There is some agenda here and ordinary people obviously aren't considered important enough to be advised on what is going on. From what I'm seeing on the news, NY is really suffering from the mass influx of people. Living in the UK now is hell on earth. Last week I was watching live footage of one of these boats waiting for the rnli to load them up and every single person on it was white, at least 2 were blonde. It's the same in the hotels in Norwich, mostly eastern European, very few Africans.

No one would risk their life crossing one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world if they had legitimate reasons for coming here as a refugee, there are already legal (and safe) routes for them. Coming here illegally and not prepared to disclose their country of origin should mean they are given a tent and put up in a field with all the others surrounded by security until they say where they are from. Parliament is supposed to act on the wishes of the people, they don't.

How do we realistically fix this though? They play games with anyone who raises their head above the parapet. We can't have people getting popular now with views different from the official narrative... It's an extremely depressing prognosis. Right now where we live, won't say where but my wife won't go anywhere without me. I don't blame her either I prefer it that way. There is more going on than I can say safely in here.

As a Canadian I cannot immigrate to the UK (on ancestry visa) without documents, including documents of my parents/grandparents, without paying a hefty health surcharge, criminal check, and proof of funds to sustain myself. It really doesn't seem right. For every undocumented person they allow in they ought to give the same free privilege to a documented and checked Commonwealth citizen- do a draw for it, one for one. Keep the balance between honest people and criminals.
