Almost exactly 18 years ago I was doing a photomerge as the final project for a photoshop class at a community college. The photomerge in photoshop back then was… more suited for stitching together a document that wouldn’t fit on a scanner. So, I kind of cheated and used a pipeline of DxO (to fix distortion and falloff so that stitching was easier) -> Hugin -> Photoshop (for manual blending of each image on its own layer). Best result in the class by a huge margin. (To be clear, I’m glad it’s easier and better now.)

It's pretty phenomenal now! I tried to keep it relatable by not making it too insane but I've even made a gigapixel within Lightroom with out any issues! It's definitely reliable enough where most of the time I won't bother to bring certain lenses while I'm traveling

If your in a pinch or want to travel light, it's definitely a great trick. Also it's a great way to get tons of extra resolution if the subject matter accounts for it! When I walk around with one of my prime lenses I personally tend to do this fairly often!

Mate, you should use clear image zoom on your Sony camera it gives you a two times crop and the same resolution

Clear image zoom is pretty awesome! But I don't use it too often. I find it a bit troublesome to use if I'm not the sole operator. I find hotkeying APSC mode to a button works best for me! It works both in photography and videography mode and just a simple press to zoom and unzoom. I think if I shot with dedicated primes more often it would be a great option though! Could essentially zoom double any focal length with control!

I left a list in my description but I do need to update it! For video I use an a7siii, and a7rv. Funny enough I enjoy using the a7rv for video because the flip screen just feels more natural for me to use. Lenses for this video: Batis 25 f2 (phenomenal lens) Sigma 35 f2 Tamron 17-50 f4 Occasional I use my 14-24 f2.8 sigma too. I have a quite of bit of other glass that I don't really use for video too but may occasionally pull out if the situation calls for it!

The video side I use a mix of my batis 25 f2, sigma 35 f2, and Tamron 17-50 f/4. For the photos, the MT Agung photo was sigma 90mm f2.8, wide variation was 11mm laowa. Photo of my GF was a viltrox 85mm f1.8 which I ordered for this video and funny enough is actually pretty good! Kinda slow to focus though. Better than manual focus only I suppose! Hawaii picks were the 90mm!

I often use two Cameras, one Camera with a wide angle prime Lens and one Camera with a short tele prime Lens, this is a very good combo, so I have a small shoulder bag where I very fast can switch from one Camera to another, there is space in the bag for a third Lens if I need it. I do not like zoom lenses ! Prime Lenses are the best Lenses, more compact, more light weight and cheaper compared to zoom lenses. With a zoom lens you get very easy lazy and just stand at one point and zoooooooooom, with a prime you get to learn the focal length much more and know exactly to use at the right moment in the right light in the right angle at the right distance, zoom Lenses is too boring, too heavy, too big and too expensive, get prime Lenses !

Two bodies is a way to go too! It's can get a bit tricky to travel with in every situation though. (I would know since In the last 6 months I carry an a7siii for KZread and a7rv for photos..... My back hurts 🤕) I ordered an x100vi so hopefully that'll replace my a7rv for most situations! Otherwise I guess I'm carrying three cameras for a while 🥴

@@CongThanhContent I do not like the X100 cameras, bad viewfinder and you cannot change the Lens ! I would have chosen a Sony A6xxx series camera or a A7C series camera and light weight Lenses, when I go light weight I have the Sony Carl Zeiss Sonnar 35mm 2.8 T* ZA on my Camera. I have trouble with my back that can hurt, but with two camera and two light weigh Lenses, I do not have problems, I carry my shoulder bag wit the strap on my right shoulder and the bag across at the left side, most of the time I have one of the camera in my hand, ready to shoot.

@cameraprepper7938 I've had both a7c and a6000, found the a7c was lacking alot of ergonomic features, also the lack of tilt for an articulating screen I thought was a big mistake. I used the sigma 45 f2.8 on it and it still was a bit too big to pocket it. I also had an a6500 at one point but in the end felt the same way as the a7c. The a6700 is pretty cool though, but I don't like that they removed the built in flash. It was the main reason I loved the earlier a6000 bodies!

@@CongThanhContent 🤣Built in flash, I hate cameras with flash, I hate flash ! I do not like fully articulating screen, a tilt screen is fine and more compact. For me all of the A7/9 series Cameras are compact enough, I am very happy with my A7RIV Cameras. I do like the A6xxx and the A7C series design with the EVF in the corner, I hope one day ALL Sony Cameras will have the EVF in the corner !
