Damn you almost never see cops and citizens being this respectful to each other online! It's a bummer that you were sent away but sadly there's often "that one person" who gets in your way.

The way it should be, nice to see them conversing in a very respectful, dignified, friendly manner, nice to see people being so nice with each other, but hey, I would have really loved to hear those officers sing, that would have been nice! Music is wonderful & healing! 🙂

It was actually the business that called law enforcement. The cops didn’t mention anyone in particular named Angel or Karen who made the call

Yup. I drive Uber there an the building I was picking up my customer from called the cops because I was parked on a bike lane. The other side of the road had construction. It was 5 in the morning and not a single person was there. NYC is a shithole.

It is a public sidewalk! They know that. Yet they bowed down to the hotel's wishes. The cops should have told the hotel it is a public sidewalk and there is a first amendment to our Constitution! Singing on a public sidewalk is a first amendment right afforded to every citizen of the United States anywhere in the United States! NY city has to abide by that without charging someone. You don't need to pay to have a first amendment right if you are a citizen of the U.S. Sorry Reggie, they just cannot stand that you uplift people. It interferes with their incessant need to bring people down! Love you, Reg!

You dont need a peermit for being on a publicss8de walk, tax payers pay for those side walks,what about the restaurants that put tables out on taxpayers side walks the cops should enforces those type of laws now they need a permit because they are marketing.
