I agree with the guy in the first clip about his big pile of boxes being like a snake resort. First thing I thought when I saw it was "that looks like my snake playpen" because I give them all the old carboard boxes from the house to play in for enrichment before they go in the recycling.

We had a visitor today as well! A pretty large prairie rattler hanging out in the fence posts next to our garden. I hope he moves on, because we are building fence right now. So far a busy snake year here in the Texas Panhandle.

Nick I am not a snake expert by any means but pretty sure you are not the reasn they are mad. Being moved and in a bucket has to be odd/scary. It's not a *new* location, is the thing :) Careful examination of the area can make it obvious where it lives, and we are putting it back into its own home range. It's better than walking into traffic, which was the very likely result if left in place.
