This is beyond what anime could do. Hope for another season

"It's been a long time, Handler One." Is such a damn good line after everything that has happened in the story. This anime is so far under the radar of too many people and it's criminal.

This anime is so good in making emotional moments like this 😭

I waited so long for this moment... and it was so worth it.

That they meet for the "first time" with the "handler one" call sign is perfect. Circular as most things are. Also she meets them face to face once shes ready and deserving of leading them, having living trough hell like they did. Now she can rejoin them she fit for them and them needing her probably the handler with the most experience in the battlefield that knows how to lead this type of unit. One has find his drive and the other what shes been driven for. Complementing each other and as reward finally meeting esch other because im very sure from now on things will gwt harder

This was the most joyful experience ever in an anime for me. I cried happy tears.

Me literally at 4:55 lol .. and the ending tsk, one of the most wholesome sweetest scenes I've seen so far, couldn't wish for more.. didn't even need to have any physical contact srly Just finished v7 and couldn't wait for for the rest of the volumes to be adapted 🤧 hope we get to have the whole thing realized

in other anime you feel not satisfied when the mc dont kiss but in this anime Just those two meet feels so satisfying

I think season 3 will be next year

New season have a high chance of happening simply because of Kadokawa, any LN's anime adaptation that is Kadokawa have a high chance of getting a new season right now, iirc they want to create 40(?) Animes per year(?). That's why even "Our last crusade" that wasn't really that populer is getting its second season just for them to reach their target. I'm sure one of the reasons why classroom of the elite, if it is Kadokawa, is getting its 2nd and 3rd season is because of that as well. So 86, a popular novel/anime, definitely have a high chance of getting a new season, if not guaranteed.

Kadokawa definitely wants to continue this and looking at Asato's feedback, I'm preety sure she wants them to continue it as well. it's just a matter of whether A-1 and aniplex will still accept the project.

lena never see them face to face. thats why she only recognize them when they tell her their name and they catchphrase. and if you remember the episode when lena see 86's squads photo, the photo already damage and the squad's face are unrecognized.

that's why their prank work, like Ernst set her up by first showing her the memorial which diminished all of her hope that they may be alive. then immediately make them meet to make her cry. I think in the LN she even thought Shin was lying but the moment she put two and two together, she couldn't believe it. Them being alive was the last thing in her mind afterall
