The first thing we see Eugene do is teach his sister that when someone does something nice for you, you say "thank you." It hits a whole lot harder at the gravestone when you see how genuinely happy she is about the picture.

Theres an amazin 3 part series on youtube called "86 Eighty Six - Reviewing Details You Missed From the Anime" which really shows the lenghts the staff went to to make this adaptation the best it could possibly be. Would be neat if you could watch it!

I recalled during the airing that the finale episode of 86 was the most awarded episode in anime subreddit. It was huge! It was painful to watch weekly and the delayed, but the last 2 episode was as perfect as it could be.

Thank You for reacting to 86!! There are currently 12 Vols and so much content/source material to make 3-5 more seasons and probability a movie!! We need everything in the LN animated 😭

I started watching you all when you started 86 and I brought up that this show doesnt get close to the attention it deserves. Im glad you stuck to it despite it not bringing in a lot of viewership

About Marcel, he is a regular character later in the LN. His leg got hurt, so he can't fight on the battlefield again, so he is realocated to Lena's unit, he drives her special vehicle, that stays in the vanguard, while the Shin and the crew fights in the frontline.

Not just 86 days, but 48 weeks and 6 days since the very first episode release, so in true symbolism, 4 8 6 or "FOR 86" Thank You so much for reacting to the Anime 86, this anime has been an hidden gem because from Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, and other anime, 86 was an hidden gem that not a lot of people knew about. Even though I do really like Attack on Titan but 86 is by far my personal favorite anime, above AoT. 86 should of been the Anime of the Year.

i reckon the mecha aspect is what turn most casual off. And the mecha is spider type too so double whammy.

Thanks for the reaction! I always enjoy watching people react to this series. This finale is one of the best payoffs after the roller coaster of emotions and events prior. And yes. 86 days....

86-EIGHTY-SIX was supposed to be an 1 volume story, this is how the story has ended in vol 1, ep 11-23 (first 19 mins) were from vol 2 and 3. 86-EIGHTY-SIX won Dengeki Novel Prize in 2016 and was serialized. There are 13 volumes out in Japan right now + 1 vol of 86 Alter (a collection of short stories). The story just entered the final arc, as for how long the arc will be no one knows. A-1 Pictures works now on many shows so they probably won't work on 86 for a few years from now, but some staff from the CG studio that worked on 86 said after the anime ended that they will want to work on more 86, especially since the future mech designs are mindblowing. BTW that CG Studio, Shirogumi, just won Best Visual Effects Oscar award for Godzilla Minus One.

I think the studio is really busy so thats why no new season but the ln have done really good so whe should definitely get a season eventually

I hope it gets another season but it looks like the Studio is going to be busy animating Solo Leveling season 2 (I vaguely remember them announcing their working on a s2 for solo leveling, I could be wrong though)

Yup, A-1 right now were working on lot of anime adaptation like Solo Leveling etc. Great for them, even they have many projects, they still produce the best adaptation yet so far
