I believe Shoto couldn't freeze Dabi because his body is resistant to cold. Not only because he has a fire quirk but during the flashback when they went to the doctor about his quirk the doctor said his body was made for the ice quirk which is why he burns himself.

Akane definitely gives me Yandere vibes, she really goes for the Bonnie and Clyde trope lol Also, we saw Ruby's dark side make an appearance, with how bubbly she is this reaction caught me off guard! Aqua having so much trauma that makes him sick makes me feel really sorry for him, too bad therapy didn't work out for him. Regarding the Dad (I'm Anime only so don't worry), I think it should be an A tier actor, that way it can be handle as the final boss of the series. Not so easy for Aqua to get close and test for DNA. But I also can see the author throwing a plot twist there so who knows!

Shoto uses the ice and fire parts of his quirk, with his heart as a medium to bring his powers into equilibrium. Dabi's is using the technique to boost his fire powers way over what he's typically capable of. Shoto's goal was to cool him down and in his current state would likely be impossible. AFO's goal is to get to Shiggy. Let's see how that works out for him. Nice catch with the fighter pilots. In all honesty guys, how could Dabi's storyline end with Shoto without involving Endev. Shoto's presence was secondary, he has a problem with Endev. They have to interact somehow, that is the better resolution. Good reaction and discussion as usual guys.

I will vouch for Wind Breaker. It surprised me how good it is. Also, I would recommend Link Click. It's a Chinese anime that has a really good story that makes you think. There's only 2 seasons so far with the 3rd being worked on. Even if you don't watch it on the channel, you should on your own time.

Dabi is back up and copying Shoto's move. AFO has his body back. Shigaraki has a new form. Things are not looking good for the heroes. Speaking of Shigaraki, we actually see Tenko's little Vestige is starting to have blue hair. As we know, Tenko originally had black hair. And whenever we see him in the Vestige space, we usually see him that way. But the stress of seeing the other heroes revive Bakugo is making his hair change color(similar to what happened when his quirk first awakened). Tenko didn't receive a helping hand from anyone in his family. Nor did he receive any help when he was wandering the streets. Not from any heroes or any civilians. He was alive. And no one wanted to help him. Yet the heroes are now putting their very lives on the line for someone who very clearly isn't alive. It must feel like a slap in the face.

But sadly, that comes with the price of hiding a part of himself from them. It doesn't really matter if it's romantic or platonic, Akane is the person who has seen Aqua at his most vulnerable and wants to be his ally so he's not so alone anymore. And Aqua, well, we can't really blame him if he starts getting attached to her for those reasons.

@@ReactCity Probably. The anime changes A LOT from the novel. But I quite like it. The novel mixes in a bit of mythology, religious war and steampunk elements. The anime removes great part of it, and I think the result is more accessible to a wider public. It's an example of good adaptation. You keep the story's message and alters the medium in order to convey it to a larger audience

Petty queen Kana 😂 I loved that whole trolling moment. She’s a gremlin for real and I 100% believe this is pure acting beef. I liked the insight that they don’t just have different takes on how to act but also what constitutes good acting. I’d like to hear more on what she thinks. I’m really pulling for poor Meruto, he really needs to redeem himself. But I can’t believe that it took Aqua to realize his acting was garbage 😭. I know Kana was playing nice but really? He had no clue? I feel like Aqua’s self doubt is legit, you can’t be an actor and not be able to act out real emotions. That’s like 90% of the job. Though it comes from trauma so that’s not really a reflection of his real abilities but that would limit the type of role he could play for sure. Translation note: the grey haired guy used the word “bijin”, a word that transliterates to beautiful person but is mostly used for girls/women. Yuki says “oya” which applies to both parents but he uses a word that would apply only to the mother. They sometimes mess up in according the verbs and subjects in the subtitles I noticed. To be fair to them, in Japanese, 9 times out of 10 you don’t use the subject in a sentence so unless it is explicitly said, you have to translate using context cues. This leads me to assuming that Ruby looking almost exactly like Ai on a different color palette is going to be a plot point eventually.

IMO akane is a perfect partner for aqua. because i can't see any of way kana will helping aqua problem. heck, undoubtly she will trying to drag him out of that murder issue which is no way for him. he already stated in the first episode in season 1. that he did not need a world without Ai. i mean, it does make sense since he already living for 35 years before. it's not like the reincarnation is really making him happy in the first place. the entire reason why he keep moving in the entertaiment industry is just to get his revenge. he is smart ass doctor, if he just want to live. he doesn't need to be an actor. so if kana was in akane place, i think aqua will never tell his intention, even if he do tell his intention to kana. it'll be just crushing their relationship. aqua really determined for his revenge since he was a kid, remember the Ai's phone password thing, he trying to unlock it every single day for four years. ain't no way kana word would convince him. so the only way that can make aqua open his heart to anyone is just to be there for him. when he's trying to do some sh!t, you do too. kana is a person that will never let aqua to be in his darkside, i think akane too but akane is more of supporting his revenge first. like, i don't think kana could take the weight of killing people. she's just a child compare to aqua. dude is literally grown ass man in mature baby body. his mental and mind is on different level.

He is extremely broken, him getting his revenge wouldn't accomplish anything, he'll still be empty inside. The only good ending for Aqua is moving on, giving up on revenge or getting revenge in a non bloody way.

SPOILER well, after he know his sister is serina, he's change a little bit, he want his sister to be really happy with her life now. but still his hatred does not vanish from his heart until now and still seeking that revenge even after he done with his dad lmao

Akane is good for Aqua in terms of plot. But she's just as bad as him for dragging him further into the darkness. Kana is described as the sun, she's kind of the light to Aqua's darkness while Akane just drowns with him in it. Akane is just worse for Aqua, while Kana is too bright for him at the moment. He just needs to get therapy before ending up with anyone, Kana being the healthiest option between the two when/if he gets mentally better.

As an Akane fan, i won't lie and say i also hadn't VERY mixed feelings when she said that line, but imo this is her in her lowest. From here on out, her character is purely awesome. @@ReactCity Probably. The anime changes A LOT from the novel. But I quite like it. The novel mixes in a bit of mythology, religious war and steampunk elements. The anime removes great part of it, and I think the result is more accessible to a wider public. It's an example of good adaptation. You keep the story's message and alters the medium in order to convey it to a larger audience

most likley not for now since they tend not to catch our interest as much as animes and live actions tend to be a bit too much for some of our sensibilities. we do intend to dip our toes back in with non animes though, for instance this sunday train to busan reaction is coming out.

Petty queen Kana 😂 I loved that whole trolling moment. She’s a gremlin for real and I 100% believe this is pure acting beef. I liked the insight that they don’t just have different takes on how to act but also what constitutes good acting. I’d like to hear more on what she thinks. I’m really pulling for poor Meruto, he really needs to redeem himself. But I can’t believe that it took Aqua to realize his acting was garbage 😭. I know Kana was playing nice but really? He had no clue? I feel like Aqua’s self doubt is legit, you can’t be an actor and not be able to act out real emotions. That’s like 90% of the job. Though it comes from trauma so that’s not really a reflection of his real abilities but that would limit the type of role he could play for sure. Translation note: the grey haired guy used the word “bijin”, a word that transliterates to beautiful person but is mostly used for girls/women. Yuki says “oya” which applies to both parents but he uses a word that would apply only to the mother. They sometimes mess up in according the verbs and subjects in the subtitles I noticed. To be fair to them, in Japanese, 9 times out of 10 you don’t use the subject in a sentence so unless it is explicitly said, you have to translate using context cues. This leads me to assuming that Ruby looking almost exactly like Ai on a different color palette is going to be a plot point eventually.
IMO akane is a perfect partner for aqua. because i can't see any of way kana will helping aqua problem. heck, undoubtly she will trying to drag him out of that murder issue which is no way for him. he already stated in the first episode in season 1. that he did not need a world without Ai. i mean, it does make sense since he already living for 35 years before. it's not like the reincarnation is really making him happy in the first place. the entire reason why he keep moving in the entertaiment industry is just to get his revenge. he is smart ass doctor, if he just want to live. he doesn't need to be an actor. so if kana was in akane place, i think aqua will never tell his intention, even if he do tell his intention to kana. it'll be just crushing their relationship. aqua really determined for his revenge since he was a kid, remember the Ai's phone password thing, he trying to unlock it every single day for four years. ain't no way kana word would convince him. so the only way that can make aqua open his heart to anyone is just to be there for him. when he's trying to do some sh!t, you do too. kana is a person that will never let aqua to be in his darkside, i think akane too but akane is more of supporting his revenge first. like, i don't think kana could take the weight of killing people. she's just a child compare to aqua. dude is literally grown ass man in mature baby body. his mental and mind is on different level.
Stop considering him a grown ass man, you can clearly see from his actions that he's not that mature..his mind is largely affected by his new body. He is extremely broken, him getting his revenge wouldn't accomplish anything, he'll still be empty inside. The only good ending for Aqua is moving on, giving up on revenge or getting revenge in a non bloody way.
@@deadline6149 the middle of your comment, that is exactly what i said. he can't move on . at least just by the life that he had now. all of this is nothing compare to his feeling for Ai. man just got a complex feeling for her, He seeing Ai as an idol that he cheerish for (of course that mean he seeing Ai as woman too, i mean which fan that did not want to be their idol boyfriend/girlfriend) and he seeing Ai as his mother too. and by seeing her as an idol, is not like just a normal fan and idol kind of thing. the reason He like Ai is because serina. at first he's not seeing serina as important person for him. but as far as he taking care of her. he feels she is important to him (as patient and a normal human ofc). serina life is sucks, on top of that he can't save her. every doctor will be sad by that. and seeing serina really wanted to be like Ai, he becoming understand about Ai charm. and becoming Ai's fan. his way of relation to Ai itself is complex. is not that easy to just giving up his revenge and accepting the life he got now. i mean, the life that he had now is just an ordinary life, it doesn't have really special thing more than his feeling for Ai. as he said, his idol before and now is still Ai and will be Ai only. SPOILER well, after he know his sister is serina, he's change a little bit, he want his sister to be really happy with her life now. but still his hatred does not vanish from his heart until now and still seeking that revenge even after he done with his dad lmao
@@deadline6149 Aqua himself does not wanting a good ending for him. he just want a justified about his mom death. he can't just let that go, he's a doctor, even in that time he's a child. his mind and spirit is a doctor. he can't forgive himself, there is amount of possibility to save her before she got donuted. he really let his guard down, and he can't forgive himself by that. that's why he never let his guard down when he talking and having moment like this (you will know in the future with Akane moment again lmao)

We all know how deep his trauma is and how importan his circle of friends/family will be in his new life. Aqua not wanting a good ending is just how his journey began, he is not completely like that anymore after living 17 years as Aqua.
Akane is good for Aqua in terms of plot. But she's just as bad as him for dragging him further into the darkness. Kana is described as the sun, she's kind of the light to Aqua's darkness while Akane just drowns with him in it. Akane is just worse for Aqua, while Kana is too bright for him at the moment. He just needs to get therapy before ending up with anyone, Kana being the healthiest option between the two when/if he gets mentally better.

As an Akane fan, i won't lie and say i also hadn't VERY mixed feelings when she said that line, but imo this is her in her lowest. From here on out, her character is purely awesome. Also, while Kana and Akane fans are getting at each others throats, i was just like "GET HIM MELT. PROVE THEM WRONG" LOL for real, my boy got roasted.
