Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is from the pilot episode. If anyone is interested, the story sees the CIA and DOD develop an AI program that's smart enough to spot everything from dead drops to assassination plots and appoints John, the badass bum from the subway scene, as its agent to deal with petty crimes that the federal agencies see as beneath their attentions. And the intellectual part of the show, each case John and Harold, his IT support and the AI's lead programmer, are only ever given a social security number without any further context like the person the number matches to is a victim, a perpetrator, or just a likely collateral casualty, and it's upto the human characters to find and piece together the puzzle pieces of the case before it's too late. And yes, Det. Carter is played by Taraji P. Henson, and she left the show to play her lead role on Empire during the third season.

Idk, sounds like their own fault really. The amount of money these people get is just stupid. They get a whole ass second pension that's often much higher than their normal pension. Everyone with a military background that I know lives comfortably because they literally can't struggle with the amount of money they got. Not rich, but far from poor.
@AnthonyOnSega

@@matus19971you do realize up until about 2017 veterans received little to no benefits after their service? Like the VA was fought for VERY hard and the govt fought back against a majority of policies to HELP people that serve or served. Even moreso, the pay was astronomically worse than what it is now. BAH was basically a scratch off ticket 20 years ago. Things changed over time but anyone pre 9/11 that served during a wartime era suffered immensely when they came home. No healthcare, no jobs would accept them due to their lack of skills in career fields etc. But I digress. A simple google search woulda taught you all of this and much more and you chose a narrow minded judge mental approach. Seems you wouldn't want the truth even if it meant your warped entitlement of an opinion had to be muzzled

Most people on the street dont want problems, but some people just see a target, not knowing I was pretty much ready to die

The CIA tried to kill him so he went into hiding, a man finds him and offers him a job to save people or stop them, a machine predicts that someone is going to be part of a serious crime either the victim or the criminal, so he investigates to find out what is what and stop the criminals, basically John wick with Batman moralities, except he kills only if he absolutely has to

I see a lot of comments saying don’t pick fights with the homeless. You shouldn’t go around picking fights period. The person you pick a fight with hasn’t always been that person. You don’t know who they were at one point. A lot of holy people were killers at one point. Treat people how you want to be treated if you have to defend yourself by all means do it. If you look for something understand you don’t get to tell the other person when to stop. They can and will take it as far as they see fit.

I work with the homeless. This is true. Some are just addicts, but some are hiding in other states, avoiding arrest. You never know what for. And you never know which one of the homeless people are the dangerous ones, and which are just homeless due to addictions or other circumstances. The really dangerous ones aren't going to act dangerous when you are handing them a plate of food, or just talking to them. They act just like normal people.

For those of you asking, this is the series Person of Interest. And for those of you confused as to why the cop (Carter) assumed the homeless guy (Reese) was special forces isn’t just because of the chokehold. This is taken out of context. Reese actually beats the crap out of those guys, but it’s not shown here. Edit: Stop asking me what show this is and read my comment thoroughly, please.

Some people need to learn that lesson the hard way, I spent 8 years as a bum on the streets of NY due to a heroin addiction, it makes you hyper aware which leads to insomnia, ive been attacked while sleeping, robbed at gunpoint, had to chase after someone after they stole my shoes while sleeping... Most people on the street dont want problems, but some people just see a target, not knowing I was pretty much ready to die
I loved this show, it's called person of interest, he was ex military, then worked for the CIA .

Just watched a video on people who appear to be completely docile working class. When these people were interviewed, they told about how they were dishonorably discharged from the U.S. military and went and inlisted in the French Foreign Legion. These people were constantly in the shit and fighting and killing for 5 years straight. Homeless dude, insurance agent, the guy that works in the produce department at a grocery store, you just never know who or what the other guy has been through, let alone capable of at all.
Never pick a fight with someone you dont know.
