The reason the producer says what he says to the trainees is something he said during BigBang’s survival show was that he has to be harsh because the public is harsher. But also he wants the trainees to push themselves to be better and evolve. Also seeing the leadership potential in the trainees.

I feel so bad at Junghwan because some of the trainees didn't believe in him, I love that YG saw something in him. He knows how to pick his artist. Look at Junghwan now, he is thriving, I have been rooting for him since TREASURE BOX.

I'm so proud of So junghwan despite the others didn't believe in him he really work hard to show that he can do it, and Yg judgement for choosing a talent is just amazing.

I will answer some of your question.... -Is there any youngest become leader? Well usually in kpop industry, the leader will be picked from the oldest member or the one who trained longest. But in YG, the leader is the one who have leadership (because leadership skill is hard to trained, it must be from the person itself). As for maknae leader, there is Kang Seung Yoon (leader and the youngest in WINNER). He is known by korean public as the great singer before trainee (he was in superstar K).... Public has been waiting for his solo, but Yoon hold his solo time almost 10 years because he is focus on WINNER. He let other member to get their solo first, even help making song for them. Now he already release his album while the 2 oldest member in military. Now other agency not follow old formula to pick leader. -How long they prepare? They must pick song, re-compossed, making dance etc really fast before dance, vocal, and rap trainer evaluate them almost everyday. And then week 2, producer (future bounce) or YG artist will evaluate them as a whole as a mid assesment. Week 4 they perform in front of YG and all staff... this cycle just like usual monthly evaluation, but the difference now in Treasure box is there's already camera to public their work. -About YG third floor.... only YG artist and trainee A who has potential become producer can visit the place lol. -Shinee - View is part of gen 2 song, no wonder junhyuk didnt know the song. The song itself doesnt have rap so rapper must add it and give the dance break. -Why team B feel low and skip most of the song because their insecurity. YG trainee is known very talented because only one best person who beat 4000 people to become trainee in YG audition. Treasure B is YG new way to pick trainee with their visual (because YG known not priority visual or beautiful face in kpop industry). Team B maybe team with visual, but we never know that dark horse always come from unexpected time and place lol, for example Yoonbin the rapper. -About team B leader... i think it's not just language barrier. Jihoon not just have leadership but he has the 'experience' (i wont tell u more of this because its a spoiler. But i guess u already know it from the guide). All member of team B are newbie and they still insecure with their talent. Jihoon want to help but he has a limit to help the group because he respect the leader. -As you can see since eps 1... YG trainer and YG itself always critic their trainee eventough they already giving great performance. YG and staff rarely and almost never give compliment to their trainee. Because critic will make their heart and mental are tougher... and of course not letting them easily satisfy. Because when they easily satisfy, they humble will decrease. Seungri itself already said, dont let the scold get u down. Hope u can used to YG critic to everything lol. -Ohyeah before i end this, i just want to tell u.... Me as a YGstan ever feel not fair with some of YG decision in Treasure box, but now i understand why he choose this and that and all his opinion to his trainee. Of course a visioner who has long experience and knowledge is different. Btw i really love your reaction when you got your predicition wrong hahaha

The whole team b leader thing could’ve been handle differently but seeing how they dealt with it, and at that age, while being under a lot of pressure and running out of time made sense to me. I feel bad for Jyun Hao but the boys had to do what they had to do.🤷🏻‍♀️ ..and it all work out in the end. They even gave him a little solo in the performance. Like YG said, Jihoon did a great job leading them.

WINNER a group from yg also has their maknae seungyoon as their leader. And i think he did great for his team. When their contract ended all the members renewed because they knew seungyoon wants to be a member of WINNER so much. Yoon was very thankful cause he said the members could choice to leave but they choice HIM and stayed.

It's amazing that you said Jeongwoo is always amazed because he still is up until now, after 4 since YGTB, he still has very raw reactions and is in awe about everything.

main producer YG has been known (since Bigbang time ~ yes I'm a VIP and Treasure Maker) to be verbally frank and he deliberately does that because he said the idol world isn't full of sweet words. He wants to be as critical as the netizens are so his artists can handle such treatment in the future.

When all YG seniors groups has a perfect song as bgm to every scenario in YGTB. 🥲 hearing Fool by Winner is still heartbreaking.

All the trainees has to wrote their own rap lyrics!! sometime the other lyrics too and change the beat of the song. They also have to be able to make their own choreography (for those who can) Also choose own clothes! basically all trainees must be independent and at least be able to do one of these skills🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️

Jubghwan was meant to be in Treasure. YG didnt lie when he said he has the best facial natural expression. He's the main center in Treasure most of the time, always shine when he perform and he's the Intro King. He has the unique charm that kpop idols should have. And a very talented, sweet maknae. 34:33 The trainees age as stated on the subtitles are based on the Korean age which means 1 year is added to their actual age. So, Junghwan was only 13 at that time. He's trained for only 2 or 3 months. It's so heartbreaking seeing him heartbroken in this survival show. It still tears me up whenever I remember his struggles but he's a strong kid. As you get to know them, you'll see how mature and resilient he is. 🥺

26:19 fyi all YG trainees to be in YG had to go through a competition against hundreds or thousands (ex. Rosé had to go 4000:1 to be selected to train under YGE) that’s why entering YGE is such a big deal and so hard, even koreans know that so when someone says he was an ex-YG trainee it already opens you lots of doors and people know you’re talented.

1:24:07 If I remember correctly, this is the last time Junkyu ever cried on cam even during their tour in Japan. He never cried again. 🥺 He said he doesnt like showing this side of him. And honestly, I believe he holds it in for the team. Treasure are very emotional, ànd they need someone like him to boost them up. But what's heartbreaking? He admitted he cries when he's alone. Last year he admitted he's been crying a lot alone... 🥺

Marco you're just on Ep3... Just bring tissue next time. The One who you said has Good Voice but different from how he look from Team B is HA YOONBIN. He is actually the 13th Member of Trsr. He was the one who left before debut that's why they Debuted as 12mem group. Aside from the Language Barrier, I think team b was thinking that they need someone who can lead them give them direction and more output. Jihoon was chosen bcoz the team sees a lot of potential in him as a leader. Aside from the language, he has lots of ideas that he can share to team and can help lead them. The poor boy looked like a lost puppy.. As a group of newbies, they badly needed leadership and effective communication. The change of leaders was a good call. The improvement of their performance was proof 😂

Yoobin is actually the main ACE imo, but looking his rap styling at treasure box its not supprised he left YG and out fr treasure13 for different path of style music, coz right now yoonbin music is really different from Treasure.

in YG the rappers are required to make their own rap verse during Assesments😊

I kind of disagree with your opinion on team B here but that’s your opinion and I respect that… But in every kpop group or any group in general, a leader should know how to take the initiative for the team to be able to perform well and as you can see, Jyunhao wasn’t effective in that aspect here mainly or maybe because of communication barrier… When he chose a song, he didn’t even think of the capabilities of his team and wanted to do a hard song… They were in this survival show to become a team and not to be a soloist, so I think it was the best decision for Jihoon to step up… 🥰🥰🥰

I've seen tons of reactubers doing YGTB (I think this is my 10th time) and comments always say "bring the tissues" around ep6. If you're already crying here, I got no idea how u gonna react to the very end, where everything get's so fckd up~ Hang in there! You're one 3rd away~

Don’t worry, teumes already have Jeongwoo compilation of his meme face 😂 About jun hyao, yes i think it is essential for foreigners as a korean trainee to learn the language just like when Lisa of blackpink tried so hard to learn korean it really is a struggle but she worked hard for it. But junhyao is a trainee for a short time so it would be understandable if he still struggled with that at that point..but the team poor performance is not his fault. 🤷🏻‍♀️ This show really is hard for the heart really..when u are confused with something i want to answer u but i better hold my tongue and just let u watch the next ep for ur answers lol..but my eyes is watering again… 🥲

@@marcogennuso "Oui Boys" were what the male trainees at Oui Entertainment(WEi's company) were called. Donghan was the first to arrive. He's looked up to as "the dad" of WEi, and back when they were trainees, both Junseo and Yohan had "Kim Donghan" pop-sockets on their phones! Donghan's three albums from his solo career are excellent.

54:31 I agree! Wang Jyun hao was 1 of my bias in YGTB and I feel bad for him being outnumbered. It’s being bullied in front if the camera. 1st they should try to understand him because they are trainees and 1 of the requirements as a performer is you need to learn different language esp. english.

I don’t think he was being bullied… If you watched boys planet or other survival show, you will know how important the leaders rule in a group… The team B especially Jihoon actually gave him a credit of being the leader as they want him to decide but its just not possible because of communication barrier… They are a group full of new trainees in which their skills wasn’t honed yet, so they need a leader who will take an initiative for the team and that’s what Jihoon did… His leadership potential was actually discovered here…🥰🥰🥰
