Treasure lost one of their main vocalist and main dancer, but we didn't lie when we said Treasure are the true all rounders. Of course Mashidam was very important to treasure but treasure still remains one of the most talented groups. The talent and potential in this group is immense and I am sure they're going to make it big. They have solid fanbase which keeps on growing and also people waiting for their downfall y'all need a life, We don't really know the reasons so we should refrain from making up controversies. It's going to hurt the members as well as Mashidam .I am sure Mashidam is going to succeed in whatever they pursue. And Treasure will rise .

Yedam and Mashi may be the pillars of treasure but still we still Have Junkyu, Jihoon, Junghwan, Asahi and our Jeongwoo for Vocals and Jaehyuk, Haruto, Hyunsuk, Doyoung and Junghwan for Dance. Our Boys are all rounder. YG just needs to make a new comeback again just to prove it. Plus more showcase of their skills.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm excited to see what Bang Ye Dam does with his freedom. It was pretty obvious Treasure wasn't going in a direction that fully suited him. They will be fine and I will be patiently waiting.

Treasure is a group that grows despite the constant adversity, and they always rise above it even better and stronger. I love Mashiho and Yedam and I miss their presence in the group, but I think all the boys are so talented and will succeed wherever they go-Yedam in a solo career, Mashiho in his road to health recovery

I'm sad but not worried because I know that without Yedam, they still have very good vocalists in 4th gen. Without Mashi, they still have the best dancers. Those who are not stanning them are more worried on who's gonna sing or what not. That's the difference when you stan an all rounder group. I'm not worried about their future, those who have true talent shine.

But yedam was very popular with great technique and vocal tone as well as mashiho. Im not saying the rest arent great. Its just that these two were very impactful to the group. Theyre ranking first in vocal and dance respectively.

@@melomelody9796 treasure was already a group that the owner of the channel kept up with, and I know that if treasure didn't have any bad news and made it big in the industry he would have made a video about them a few years from now but the video came sooner than expected because obviously their journey isn't as smooth as we wanted it to be and since the sad news came before the group could even stand on its own... this channel usually makes vids with 'what happened to...' as their titles so usually they talk abt groups/idols/companies that went through tough times so no one would've expected a 2 yr old group to be here this early in their journey...

if you know treasure's past at all, you know they will always come back stronger and better. they grow with adversity and not fall apart due to it. they are one of the most mentally strong groups i know. they've been through A LOT. from being in one of the most brutal survival shows i've ever seen, to having their debut canceled and pushed back 18 MONTHS, to having a member leave the group even before debut, to being ridiculed and hated on predebut, from being linked to numerous scandals within their company that had nothing to do with them, and now having 2 precious members leave.. they've pushed past all of that. i remember people said "they're going to be future druggies just like all artists from YG are". i remember people saying "YG should disband them because they won't be as successful as bigbang and blackpink", i mean whatever could be said about them, it was said. but they never listened to any of the noise and focused on themselves and their dreams. im just always so proud of them. they deserve the world! i'm hoping for treasure's continued success, and for yedam and mashiho to be happy and healthy! ot12 always. best boys!! pls continue to support treasure's future and if you don't stan, what are you doing?

Treasure gets knocked down so many times. But the best thing about them is they never stay down & always come back swinging. They have been doing exceptionally well despite the hell theyve dealt with this year. TSS CH2 is successful, their first Korean tour in KSPO Dome sold out both days, they'll be attending AAA & MAMA and most likely not leaving empty handed, & their Japan Tour is sold out & starts today. I'm proud of my boys. They are hurting but they aren't letting anything stop them. Hopefully Mashi and Yedam are able to move on and bw happy and healthy too. Hopefully everyone ends up happy and healthy in the end.

Let's be honest about one thing even after the unfortunate news of yedam and shiho leaving it won't affect trsr badly for example ikon was dependent on hanbin as their producer so he's departure really took a toll on the grp's music but treasure? Although yedam leaving will have some bad effects as he was the unspoke face of the grp it won't effect trsr's music that badly since they are not dependent on yedam's producing. They have various talented producers like asahi, yoshi, haruto, hyunsuk and junkyu (still waiting for prod junkyu in the next album) and jaehyuk is also learning to produce and yedam's leave will also not affect their vocal line that much cuz they have some of the best vocalists of 4th gen like jeongwoo, junkyu, jihoon. Mashiho's leaving will also not effect their dance line that much since trsr is more of a dance based grp each of the members can dance really good. Mostly doyoung, junghwan, hyunsuk, jihoon. Although yedam and Mashiho's departure will affect trsr but not that much.

NGL when Yadam & Mashiro left my first reaction was "OHHHHH, EXO FLASHBACKS!!!!" which is what I wasn't hoping for with Treasure. BUT no matter what EXO wound up as one of the biggest K-Pop boy groups ever, period. So there is still hope for Treasure to come out on top.

As a Exo fan I can say it was frustrated to hear that Chinese members left the group but Exo was glad to have the best voices in kpop with Chen, Baekhyun and D.O . Exo was extraordinary good as group even as 9. Idk treasure but the comments say they lost their best voice I hope they have other good voices in the group and will survive

True. I started to listen to kpop in 2015 and EXO was my first group. As I wasn't there since the beginning peoole were telling me how SM took ages to debut them + they lost members etc. Since I started listening to kpop I was into YG artists and yeah...I knew about Treasure when they were not Treasure at all 😂 does someone remember Silver boys? 😂😂 Good old days... Well...5 out of 11 members got into Treasure so that's something, still together, tho Yedam left later. Rest of them left YG and either debuted in other groups or gave up. Choi Raesung is a producer now. Idk about other guys. But yeah...kinda similar to EXO... They are bith from big3 too... Now we can only hope they just grow bigger 😎

Couldn’t agree more with you.. Treasure’s members were all YG’s artists fans specially Bigbang’s.. That’s why I (as a VIP) feel so much connected to them. But unlike Bigbang and Ikon who were so much depended to GD and BI to make songs, Treasure have so much other producers such as Hyunsuk, Asahi, Yoshi, Junkyu and other members as well. I thought I never stan again a kpop group since IKON, but TREASURE hits different for me. I watched these babies since YGTB and supported them watching all their videos before they debut. I know the feelings of someone were leaving, you can be angry at company, mad so bad, heart broken but at the end of the day, the remaining group hurts the most. That's why, I understand and support of what their decision why they want to depart. A true stan should support and accept the fact and wish the group the best in life. For me, I will TREASURE, treasure because they're my babies. I don't stan other groups because I'm a solid YG STAN. if you stan YG then you know the drills. It's hard, painful but you gotta use to it.

What happened to them? I'll answer you! They are getting bigger,stronger,improving & their doing it step by step.. Teume will back them up & will always lift them up whatever happens! P.s! We have to see how treasure is going to evolve...But winner survived and made a huge rise even after losing one member. Their songs are still celebrated and appreciated in sk. @@bella-hi4oo no treasure already prove that they can as a 10 member group. Even during the hiatus Treasure has attended concerts in Manila and Thailand and proved that they can. Even after the departure of the 2 member they proved and still rise as we can see in their concerts in KSPO and in Japan.

Yedam and Mashiho leaving Treasure is sad but will definitely not the end Treasure because of their in depth talents. Actually they are so in depth they can't fully showcase their talents because of their large number unless they create sub-units. Have you see their maknae line? Haruto?! Jeongwoo and Junghwan? Treasure is just beginning and will be a force to be reckoned with.

Its really sad that Yedam and Mashiho decided to leave the group( my OT12 heart is depressed 😔💔) but Treasure are just getting started, this year they gained more popularity and I believe they'll keep gaining popularity in the coming years and they are given freedom to make their own music by yge, like more than half of the group are producers, composers and lyricist( Asahi, Hyunsuk, Haruto, Yoshi, Junkyu, Jaehyuk) with having Komca credits in almost all of their songs. They're just 2 year old just wait and watch they'll grow huge. As we can see all the self producing groups are getting huge like stray Kids, Seventeen, Gidle also in the past the self producing groups have reached their peak like bts, bigbang etc. So I believe with immense talent and passion towards music these boys will make it big in the coming years not to mention the amount of all rounders in this group so let's wait and watch😉💎💙💙💙

The difference this time is that there is no major issue causing the departure. It is, as stated, due to their own decisions with the discussion with the company. The truthness and integrity of that statement may leave us percieving different opinions BUT at the end of the day its not our business anymore. We can only root for those who left the group and those who are left within the group. As for TREASURE10, I've been following them all this time and although the news stings, I know that an absence of one or two member wont decrease their passion and enthusiasm to give light to their fans. Their Hello In Seoul concert only proves that they manage to still perform live and hype their crowd. There are still 10 treasures inside the group and each one is someone to look for. +++ I lile your ending phrase coz that's how I always see TREASURE, like gems who shine more due to adversities and pressures of life. They might not get the hype that their peer groups have (they kinda did with darari), but I know they will only get better from here. Everybody can be hyped with proper strategy, but I know they have TALENT thats worth more than a beautiful face and a fan service.

Well watching this knowing that YG did not fail because look how TREASURE trended in MAMA like the engagements are incredible. They are more than just Yedam and Mashiho.

We never know, and we never will truly know the reason behind their departure. The only things we had that directly came from both mashiho and yedam were their subtle hints. Mashiho once posted a photo with a caption, "health first" and one where he wears a necklace that says "tired". Yedam, in his last birthday vlive, said that he doesn't feel alive anymore. He also mentioned that he started doing things he doesn't normally do like eating seaweed soup for his birthday and his urge to ride a roller coaster, in which he was initially scared to do. We were sad and eventually came to know who that "somebody" he was describing in the unreleased song he performed during their TRACE concert. The emotions that we currently feel is valid. However, as fans, we cannot change something that was already decided upon. What I only hope is for them to continue fluorishing even as separate artists. I will wait for mashidam and support them in their chosen path. And even if they decided to go in a completely different career path, I would respect their decision and root for them as long as it leads to a happy place. I hope all of us would still continue to support both mashidam and the remaining treasure members. They still have a long way to go but I believe all of them will shine the brightest in the future.

Mashiho is my ult bias and I am having a super hard time coming to terms with everything. Of course I will continue to support Treasure, Mashiho, and Yedam no matter what but it will just never be the same no matter how much I want it to be. YGE has an interesting way of managing their groups and I honestly just wish things could've gone differently that would've softened the blow of this big announcement. Regardless, please continue to support Treasure as 12 and as 10 because they have a bright future ahead of them :)

I don't understand the reason for Yedam because in their last album, Asahi and Hynsuk produced almost all of their songs so I don't think Yedam left because he wanted to produce more but maybe because he wanted to be a solo artist or a more discrete artist

We have faced a lot of challenges as Treasure Maker. Never easy as a predebut Teume. From their long years of training and delayed comeback, I know TREASURE will shine brighter with all these happenings. I will forever love and support them no matter what.

Jihoon, Asahi and Yoshi are huge fans of iKON. They decided to become idols because they were inspired by their sunbaes. Jihoon saw Jinhwan on Who Is Next: WIN he was like, ‘How can a trainee be that good? I wanna be a singer. I’ll be a singer.’ During middle school, Yoshi saw Bobby on Show Me The Money 3. So he thought he should rap in Korean. Asahi went to iKON concert with his mom, Bobby waved at him, that's when he decided to be an idol.

Coming here as a Stay, I know how you feel Teumes, my advice to you all is to never ever give up on Treasure, always support them no matter what, we have been through our trials and tribulations and it was one of the toughest times but in the end it all worked out cause we never gave up, all it took was a CB to bring SKZ back, i have a feeling in the coming year there will be a Treasure CB that's going to blow them them up I guarantee that but they need you more than anything right now, so never give up, the future is bright for Treasure and Treasure Makers

Despite everything that happened, I feel that I could never completely get away from them, they have a space in my heart, the 12 of them, Treasure as a group is so talented, they have so many good things to teach and show the world, I know their future will be bright, keep it my words

Yes,Yedam is well known but not the most popular, members who bring more money(bcuz of solo fanbase) are Haruto,Junkyu,Hyunsuk,Sahi ...Ruto is the most well known member in the group people who don't know Treasure might know him,Junkyu is most biased among other fandoms actually they are all talented and popular so that's no the big lost for treasure future,MashiDam's departure hurt our feelings,hurt Teume,but not Treasure's influence

Yedam was one of my favorites in Treasure and was the main reason why I decided to watch Treasure Box and follow the group…from their I have grown to like the other members and we all have to admit that we can’t just have one bias in this group…Mashiho is very talented too and the new of them both leaving was sad… In all…I’ll support Treasure, Yedam, and Mashiho in all their choices going forward! They all need to succeed!

He didn’t fail 2 members left like a lot of other groups in kpop some members leave but that doesn’t mean the group will fail

exactly. this just lets people feed into the negativity surrounding treasure instead of focusing on their super successful year and incredible new self produced and written mini album

I'm not gonna lie, I stan treasure and following them since treasure box because of bang yedam. He's main vocalist, his voice is unique, and he can produce high quality songs. I have high expectation for treasure because they have yedam. When he left, honestly I'm not that surprised. Since he started to hiatus, I think something is wrong and there's a chance he will left the group. I think it's not easy for treasure after yedam left, since he play big roles for the group. But, I hope they can survive, because the other 10 members also really really good in singing, dancing, rapping, and producing songs. Yeah, it's disappointing, but I hope this is the best for all of them. Please keep supporting treasure, also yedam and mashiho 💙

This group are not just a bunch of cute boys who can dance and sing. I fell in love with them coz of their personalities. They are goofy and funny. Their amazing talent is just a plus, that is for me.

As much as I miss my boys and it's sad to my fav bg lose two diamonds but y'all need to stop blaming yg it was their decision to leave the group and we should respect them and yes ik it's hard for us teume to accept that we lost our main vocalist and dancer but come on guys our other 10 diamonds are more hurt then us they lost 3 diamonds damn this is sad reminds me of Exo my two fav bg

I would agree. There so many things that must have happened behind yg’s door. Whatever the real reason is.. only mashidam, treasure members and yg knows. We are just an audience that will just gonna assume things.. i just wish that mashidam will be happy in whatever path they choose. 😊

The narrative that Yedam is trying to be a "producer" is outta pocket. I think it is just him wanted to be soloist all along. He was a solo star in Kpopstar back when he competed against Akmu. He doesn't deserve to get lost in a giant boy group.

Treasure is super successful for such a rookie group with a lack of promotion during their debut when covid hit the hardest. I was surprised their latest music videos gain as much views as stray kids. Well deserved though, wishing the music will be better and they can be the next bigbang

i agree that the idol life was never meant for yedam, i feel like he would be happier and contented if he were able to di his own music freely on his own element. what i keep hoping rn is that they all still stay in contact, that brotherly bond cannot be broken that easily

Treasure has a successful core fandom in Korea and Asia, which yg's previous boygroups failed to achieve, so they are successful and will achieve more

I would not consider any of YG boy groups lacking a good solid fandom in Korea and Asia. Winner is definitely well known in Korea as is BigBang. iKON, Winner and BigBang all have very good support in Asia, specifically SEA countries. iKON is pretty big in Indonesia, even if they don’t promote there much or even have a huge active fandom in Korea. Treasure’s success in all these countries stem from this. People were waiting for YG’s next talent and they delivered top quality. Earned the respect and have a lot of support to this day.

why some didn't see that it'll be happening. just thinking yedam and mashiho are on hiatus is a clue that they'll be leaving the group soon coz yedam has really a potential to be a solo artist. and i don't think it's fair to blame it on yg. coz i think yg really like yedam and of course he don't wanna lose an artist like him. to think yedam is the first to have a solo song (wayo) in treasure and in ygtb you can see how yg truly adore and treasure him.

Treasure the youngest powerhouse group to sell out KSPO dome in their 2 days fun concerts .. it's hard to please Korean fans but they received the best reception in their concert.. They set the bar so high and is currently the standard.

I'm happy that both men had the strength do walk away and do what was best for them. It must have been a difficult decision. It is only up from here for all 12. I was sad to hear the news, but such is life. As long as everyone is happy and healthy that is all I can hope for. Treasure are so talented and will have continued success regardless. I'm saving my coins for Yedam's solo album. All his self-produced songs were bops for me. Mashiho and his health are in my thoughts. I am ready to support him fully if and when he decides to return to the entertainment industry. It's not a failure to me, just a change of plans.🤷‍♀

I've never doubted I Stan these very talented group. I must say the only 4th gen boy group I Stan rn. And even though Yedam and Mashi left the group I know these boys could grow even more bigger. Did you ever thought that YG did that for their own sake? First, Mashiho needs a rest and must have a personal problem. he probably wants to take a break. Second, Yedam was studying music and the fact that YG supports him knowing this will help him grow not just an idol but as an artist, composer and producer? Ever since Darari became a hit and YG has been releasing Yedam's songs left and right i knew that YG saw his potential too. YG supports them. And seeing their MAMA performance last night? Treasure is still going to make it. I believe in them. We'll miss Mashi and Yedam, and continue to support them for sure- but Treasure man, just like diamonds, they will grow even despite this scenario. Honestly I love those guys and this group- and I really do believe that they'll flourish. Treasure + Mashi and Yedam, fighting! I am not that deep into Treasure but from the point of view as I see it Hyunsuk, Yoshinori, Haruto and Asahi were more in the way YGEnt would like to have their music style, but Yedam's vision or music style and composing were probably different from the Treasure concept or in general from the idol-like style, so that's why he wasn't involved as much as he would like to be and also for him their music wasn't really the thing he would like to produce. Speaking of Mashiho... well, we cannot say what kind of health reasons it was. It could be both physical and mental. In both cases it's absolutely on his own to decide if he wants to continue this life style or not.

Nathan, in General I like your Videos but This Time I really have to step in. I became a TEUME for Haruto and Hyunsuk (later I fell in love with all Boys). So it’s Not fair to Limit them to Yedam and Mashiho. Personally I loved their last comeback and it was also successful. So I agree in the matter that Yedam was always rather a soloist and will return as one in the future. That’s what I thought from the Start. But that doesn’t decrease the quality and hard work of the remaining Treasure Boys. I really love their style. It’s sad that Yedam and Mashiho left but for me as fan nothing changed. I’ll continue to support and enjoy their music. Tbh for me the Boys That made me teume are the Face of the Group… this May differ for other Fans, too. So it’s not a failed project! I really find the phrasing insulting!

I mean if you look at any footage from their concert at KSPO dome the remaining 10 members have more than enough talent and pssion to carry the group to succes, Bang Yedam and Mashiho were DAMN TALENTED but it is also a fact that they NEVER EVER had to piggyback the others.

TREASURE talent is so deep! Even without Yedam and Mashi, their Japan concerts are sold out! Kyocera dome is the biggest crowd! Asia tour is currently going on! They are even more popular now!

Not really. Treasure has still 10 vocalist. Park Jeongwoo their main vocal along with yedam then has a phenomenal voice as well and he's just 18.

I'm a newbie teume since T5 debuted. And yes I'm crying over this after knew their hardworks, they're so much tallented than I thought before and I hope they would be so big

I’ve sadly predicted that they would end similar to Exo or Super Junior and lose about 3 members. I hoped they wouldn’t end up that way. But they did so far.

I feel like they heavily focused on them being a Bigbang/ikon/winner predecessor that Treasure never got to build their own identity their discography is kind of all over the place, seeing as Yedams composed songs i.e Darari became hits i dont see why they never utilized his skills and instead they just resorted on keeping up the formulaic YG songs and doing covers of their seniors over and over again, like let these boys shine cuz they have so much potential

Actually it’s quite the opposite. The other bgs were self-produced but they wanted a different approach for Treasure. YG never had an “idol group” in the truest sense which is what Treasure debuted to fulfill the role. Allowing the members to have a broader hand at working on their music as they’re finally doing now is what will help them to build their brand and sound. I’m glad they’re finally giving them the creative space to do that albeit a little late

He is Super Good and has Good Taste. They are able to Write and produce but isn't there too many Producers in this Group plus the Company Producers. Can they have 1 or 2 Main Producers and some Sub Producer for a Clearer Sound and direction.. I was thinking

@@vip_bang547 Having various members produce songs that they can put in their discography is actually their strength. They all have different musical colors which can cater to different tastes. They don't have to lean in just one musical direction and I'm also sure each of the members would not want to limit themselves and would rather explore more with their music. All of the members are passionate in creating music and I believe that's their charm. I also think having just one or two specific members to produce for the team might only make them feel pressured to do well, which can take a toll on their mental health. If you watch their documentary, you can see that the members are the happiest when working together on music. Just until recently, they were still finding their musical identity. I believe, through their recent album, we can say that their musical color is like a rainbow (as described by yg themselves). If we let them do their thing at their own phase and without pressure, we will eventually see their identity become stronger and more harmonized in the future.

I don't mean to Stick and get stuck to One sound at all but to have an Identity this Early stages is Important too. I guess thats what happens when theres too Many Producers, plus the inhouse, in 1 group. I love How Talented they are but YG seem to not know what to do and get about it. Now, theres too many of different sound and messaging all at once. as they say, they are still 'Finding' the music that Suits them.
