I once went on a cruise ship with hundreds of Chinese passengers. They made the entire vacation a nightmare. They took over the seafood buffet and cleaned it out completely. Left nothing for the other diners. They would also place all their chairs around the pool early in the morning, leave and come back hours later. Most entitled people I have ever witnessed. Everybody was complaining about their behavior.

Yes I also felt that was an unncessary comment about his shades. I have sensitive eyes to light and sometimes I'll wear shades inside if the lights bother me. It's a simply fix for a minor medical condition.

Basically, they were trying to bully him off the piano so that they could use it for their filming, and when they didn't get their way through insincere smarmy 'friendliness', they resorted to manipulation, trying everything to pin something on the pianist: racism, sexual abuse, whatever they could shout about. Thankfully, it backfired.

Apparently, I see he limits himself to only an hour a day on that piano.They could have waited. But, clearly, they never stated the issue was wanting to play the piano. YES. The male policeman was absolutely correct. He took them aside and I thought he would simply explain the laws and freedoms to them and they misunderstood about filming in public. I believe that Chinese bully tried to make it appear BK did something wrong to the girl because the woman cop siad there were allegations. Unfortunately for the bully and lucky for BK the cameras were rolling. BK had told the lady cop the cameras don't lie that's why he wanted to keep them filming during the entire confrontation to include the police behavior. The police could have clearned this up in 5 minutes by just explaining this is the UK with different laws compared to China. That should have been the end of it.

The morale of this story is if something is on camera and recorded don't be so fast to believe every allegation told to them. They should be aware in this situation Dr K had footage of the incident so any allegation is JUST that. They could have simply asked to see the recording to set the record straight if that was even necessary. I think it was clear that witnesses could easily have cleared up any allegations made by that group, and if anything they should have received some kind of punishment for making false accusations or at least warned that's likely against the law.

Brendan is a fantastic pianist who plays all types of music and always tries to get people involved. He is not a racist I have seen him duet with many nationalities & kids from 9 to 90

What bothered me the most was the Chinese practically inviting the filming they then objected to. If they didn't want to be filmed, they could have walked away. Who goes to a foreign country and waves their flag around? No one.

I am an American and I believe Brendan Kavaangh was truthful and most calm though boiling inside by those Chinese ignorant tourist. When in another Country you go by that Country's Rules.

Investigations showed that they are not tourists which makes the encounter more sinister and needs police investigation.

It's interesting that the Policewoman had no interest in pursuing the false allegation the Chinese made but wanted to go after the innocent English man instead.

She knows Brendan well, and sometimes has appeared in his videos as she goes about her job in the station, there is more to this situation that the majority of commentators don't know or care about. She has become an easy target and has been criticized in many forums. People should take a moment to put themselves in the situation, you are going about your working day and next minute you have been crucified online for what was maybe a mistake or a misjudgment. It was wrong for her to ask Brendan to stop filming. In retrospect she would have been wise to ask her colleague to deal with Brendan to avoid any bias.

guess you didnt hear the part where 1 of the woman was saying dont shoot him . very worrying if ppl are walking around armed
