I had never heard of this before, I'm not too keen on Irish mythology either. After a little research I found the Annals of the Four Masters, listing the reigns of those mentioned in the lore. Most are in the height of the Bronze Age (1800-1300 BCE). This period is also when most of the world is calling the native Greeks "Danaan." Today we call them Mycenaeans, but they were certainly sea-faring and may have reached "Britannia.". I also realize this word, Danaan, has an Irish/Gaelic meaning as well.

Hey Robert, thanks for sharing! It's really interesting how the Annals of the Four Masters link Irish mythology with the Bronze Age. The connections between the Tuatha Dé Danann and the Greek Danaans are fascinating, especially considering their sea-faring nature. The idea of Mycenaeans reaching Britannia adds another layer to our understanding of ancient cultures. Appreciate your insights! If you're curious, delving deeper into the tales of the Tuatha Dé Danann and their mythical journeys could reveal even more about these ancient connections. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts. We hope to see more of you across the channel. ❤️❤️
