Neighbors have the right to question a stranger walking around with a camera. They don't know that he is a KZreadr collecting footage for a vlog. All they see is a dude loitering with a camera. Lamont even admitted he understood the situation from the neighbor's perspective. If you are in a neighborhood you don't live in, and someone tells you to leave you should do so even if your actions are not breaking any laws. This goes double for areas that don't take kindly to strangers which is the case in this Missouri neighborhood.

@@markm2052 Indeed this is America however there are limits to how far the freedoms we enjoy go. Also, it is the responsibility of every citizen to ensure said freedoms are not abused. The sidewalk and street in any neighborhood are considered public property however, that does not mean I can just pull up to the curb in front of your house and start living in my broke down car. When you come outside and politely ask me to leave, I could say "I'm not bothering anyone, and the street is public property." That response is not acceptable, and you will call the police to have me removed. The point is yes, we can go and do what we want in a free country however we can't forget common curtesy. If you see me walking around in your neighborhood holding a camera looking suspicious you have every right to ask me to leave. I don't live there. I am a stranger. I must respect the wishes of the people who live in the neighborhood regardless of the fact I am not violating any written laws. It can be considered loitering which is enough grounds for anyone who lives there to ask me to leave.

A neighbor jumped the curb and slammed through our wooden fence and left. I witnessed it and the neighbors got it on camera. I called the cops and told them all this. They refused to come out and refused to take pictures. They told me I needed to ask my neighbor of he saw anything and see if he confessed. If he confessed then we could take him to civil court. The cops don't do anything to people who are actually committing a crime. We had to fix the fence ourselves. This happened yesterday.

Some rude woman did that to me and she didn't realize i live on the same block as her. She was actually fairly new to the neighborhood as i had been living in that neighborhood at that time for more than 10 years. She pissed me off so i told her off and boy did she look stupid after.

I’m no law expert but I do know that law enforcement cannot force you to talk to them. If you’ve committed no crime and don’t wish to talk to them, then they have to let you go about your business.

You ever been to Morristown TN? I've got two places of note to mention off the top of my head: the first is our downtown, where at the beginning of the year, some dude out of Michigan set one of the buildings down. He says he did it because his car broke down here, got pissed off at how much the mechanic charged him, and decided to take his anger out on the downtown area. The second is Bethesda Church and cemetery. There's a lot of Civil War graves, and you can still see where a cannonball hit the side of the church during the Battle of Bean Station.

I live in a street where neighbors have people over their houses all the time. So many people walk or bike ride down our street too. Some ride go carts also. One man owns an auto body shop that’s ran out of a detached garage on his property at end of our street. So many unrecognizable people drive down our street all the time. I would never call authorities on you! If I saw you I would think” just another person walking down our road” since I know who you are I would actually think“Oh it’s Lamont At Large covering a story.

That's a shame. There is a fine line between "looking out for the neighbors" and being rude and ignorant, like that lady was. I'm glad the cops were mature about it. In my neighborhood, people do call the cops over some suspicious stuff (I'm NOT saying you were doing anything of the sort) because we have a HUGE problem with little thugs breaking into houses on a regular basis, and to be honest, the cops have apprehended several of them through the past couple of years breaking into homes during the day. Of COURSE, the little guys are back on the street the next day, but that's Cleveland for you. I'm glad they didn't even bother you as you were just walking down the street. Love the videos man.
