I remember when that happened. It was the first time an Amber Alert had ever been issued for a fetus. All they knew was that the baby was a girl, about 8 1/2 months along. I'm so grateful Victoria was found alive, and that she and her father have been allowed privacy in the years since.

I was abused like that in my life, including violent relationships as an adult. I survived all that to become a cancer research scientist, I only found peace in middle age when the wounds began to close. However, the scares are still there and the anger I show is self harming. Even though I receive the best mental health treatment, I can’t stop. From a small girl I always aimed my anger at myself because I couldn’t hurt any living creature. Now retired, living in a little rural cottage with my partner of 20 years, a cat and some hens, the tears are running my cheeks, my glasses are becoming steamed up, I’m still trouble.😢😢😢

It's horrible what Lisa went through during her childhood. But Bobbie Jo and her daughter Victoria were innocent victims as well. Lisa clearly was in her right frame of mind when she planned the murder. I hated to see so many people online justify what she did to Bobbie Jo just because of her mental state and background. BUT just because someone knows, a person's past and it's horrendous, no one in their right mind will say it's justified. Give humans a little more credit.

Thank you. We heard a lot about the execution of this person, and many tried to stop it. They said she was lacking in IQ. She had the intelligence to scheme, locate a victim, plan out and gather the necessary tools, and carry out her plan. She gruesomely murdered a woman who trusted her. I don’t believe in the death penalty for a number of reasons, but the jury who heard this case obviously did - and they saw and heard a lot more than we did. It’s a horribly sad case - that poor mother (and family) looking forward to the birth of her baby, and she was murdered because she was expecting that baby.

Her poor Mom will never get that picture of Bobbie Jo out of her mind. I'd imagine she still has problems sleeping. With every major felony case, the victim pool ripples out like waves in a pond.

It's disgusting what was done to this woman (Bobbie Jo). I hope she is resting in peace and shining down all of her love on her baby Victoria who was taken from her by that evil woman. Just because Lisa had a rough life gave her no right to do what she did to Bobbie Jo. I hope Lisa is rotting in Hell.

When we had the death penalty in the UK, one appeal was made to the Home Secretary, if the appeal was denied six words were written on the condemned person's file 'the law must take it's course'. The option to commute the sentence to life imprisonment, otherwise the execution took place within a month of sentencing.

Sadly, this is becoming the new norm, we all must remember that as humans we are incapable of living civilized without law and order. Defunding Police and legalizing damaging behavior that once was outlawed is not the solution, but a slippery slide to the breakdown of civilization and country. God Bless and thank you Lamont for being you.

WOW 😳. Like you said, what Lisa Montgomery did is unforgivable... but man! I read a brief paragraph of her childhood. Yes! Very traumatic and 😢 heartbreaking. This girl was probably fighting to keep a love. A love that she had never had and apparently was going to do whatever it took to keep it... horrible story all around. I've heard this story before, but never put in the light you gave it. 😢
