Zdenka, thank you for bringing this drone to our attention, it is the perfect solution for something I've wanted to film for a long time - my roller ski technique. With this drone, I could film myself from the front and from behind while trying different tweaks to my technique. What a blessing it would be.

I’m an 80 year old content creator here on KZread. I would use the Hoover to film myself as I go about my daily life . It looks awesome - something even an 80 year old woman can master! Patti (rock star mom)

I love taking pictures and videos while on vacation, but find myself always behind the camera. I think that this is a great tool to bring the overall environment, into my vacation or family videos. I think it can give sort of a third person perspective when used within the overall context. Pretty cool!

It wasnt long ago that being behind the camera was normal and expected part of photography. Add to that it was normal for beautiful landscapes to not have a fake cheesy smile occupying 70% of the frame.

As a beginner in film creation, this would be a perfect solution for Ariel shots as well as a great way to film when hiking and working out! It's minimal, portable and ticks off all the boxes.

This looks like fun for walks and hikes. I don’t have a drone, and the ones I have tried were too complicated. The way you describe the X1 makes it look easy. This would be ideal for capturing the family (including the two dogs) memories from a new perspective.

This is exactly what I've been looking for! I do a lot of outdoorsy activities. This is the perfect way of catching my memories and content to share with the world!

Finally... a solution to my problems with selfie sticks. Wheelchair bound, I've always struggled with my selfie stick, almost losing control on sloping ground several times as I try to travel about. Thank you HoverAir, I already love the freedom and new viewpoint it will afford me. Bless.

@@AdamWeatherall True. Flying the drone for personal use does not require registration because of its low weight. However, for professional use the FAA still requires the license.

As a solo hiker most of time, this simple drone can complement my outdoor adventures shots quite nicely. Will eliminate most of back and forth trips to get tripod shots alone. You weren't kidding when you mentioned that it's noisy, but the separation of content and sound is a thoughtful feature.

Do not bring it to New Zealand. Instant fine if you fly a drone in a park here without a permit. You might not get it back if another person gets to it before you, too.

Great little drone. the safety aspect concerning the blades is great. With 3 little kids, capturing awesome family clips is a challenge. with this we can all be in the shot doing our everyday things at family outings.

This drone is perfect to make my own music video! All the modes are extremely useful and don't need a videographer or a drone pilot. I could use it all by myself. Nice job!

Such a wonderful presentation of the product. Hover Air, though being simple seems to have efficiently uncomplicated the nuisances of skilfully flying a drone. It’s protective cage and simple flying modes are the best for selfie mode. Usually it’s always the drone pilot trying to capture the subject. With this drone, it will be fun to capture the family together. I would love to have it

Even though I have a drone I completely agree with you on the anxiety you feel when starting up your drone [dji pro3 for me]. The ease of startup is what attracts me to this. Kinda like how the insta360 go2 is what I use for most of my travel videos, just because of its convenience.

I love the idea of taking selfies with a drone. To be able to capture the surroundings without having to stretch out your arm or your neck is in itself an amazing achievement. I would use this while traveling. Thank you for the detailed product review. I always enjoy your videos.

I swear Zdenka has a master's degree in finding random places to record which are perfect to dump a dead body and no one would ever find it!

Looks like a really fun drone! Really thorough review too and you certainly hit the nail on the head: the best gear is compact, easy and fast! It would be the perfect companion for my trip to the US, in September. I didn't want to bring my drone with me as it's over 250 g and very loud. An extremely compact one like this one would make it easy to fly around and snap some casual photos.

I am a content creator and a photographer. This drone will help me take on location BTS, create content when I travel to other countries, make music videos, and will be my very first drone.

Oh this is great! I’m so not a drone pilot and this would really make it doable to actually get some nice drone shots while travelling. They really add a great perspective to videos even if it’s just for family.

Amazing product this can be nice for my field trips, i love the fact that it follows wherever I go at different angles!! awesome.

Great looking product; love the features and simplicity! I would use it primarily at weekends, to help log my walks in the woods.

I’ve been a content creator on KZread for five years. I do travel, outdoor (hiking and biking) and my best vlogs are when I combine these two together. I always struggled with filming myself other than “vlogging mode” and when I’m on a hiking trip I can’t bring a heavy tripod just to set up my camera and film myself. The Hover looks like it would honestly be revolutionary in my filming setup. Also it is recommended by a woman content creator, so I trust more than usual that it’s a good product! Hi Zdenka, thanks for producing this very informative video on a great new drone. I've watched other reviews of this , amd yours is by far the most concise and helpful review. I've been flying drones for about 6 years, ever since my daughters bought me a Spark for ny 60th birthday 😊 I've since then also added a Mavic Air 2 and a Mini 3 Pro to my collection , to produce and post my drone videos on my KZread channel. I love the gesture modes on the HoverX1, reminding me of the Spark. The HoverX1 would be an ideal addition for me, for shooting family events and bringing on holiday trips. Not forgetting that it's small form factor would make it ideal for flying in congested and built-up areas, especially in Singapore. Thanks again, and looking forward to more of your helpful videos. I'm a Police Officer who captures fishing videos with vets, first responders, and young people. The interview platform is my boat, but the topics are life-enhancement topics that are relevant to the general public. This self-drone will complement my various angles and capture sound, perfectly. These kids say the darndest things. Lol

definitely use it for travel as its ultra portable and no setup time. i do fly drones but this seems to make sense for my wife and kids to operate.

A great idea for a drone camera - so easy to use. I enjoy filming and photographing outdoors. This would be a fun companion camera for creating establishing shots and creating shots that make the viewer feel like they're part of the action (e.g., following a person along a trail).

What a wonderful device. I am a smaller content myself and have a full size drone that has never worked right and eventually I gave up on learning to use it. This little guy looks like he would serve my needs perfectly and I would actually use it because it is si easy to use.

Zdenka, this mini drone looks amazing. So much easier than the set up of other larger units. I would use it for my upcoming faith-based video series as well as our family's Mediterranean cruise next August. This drone looks like a great tool to compliment my hikes around the country. The simplicity of the drone takes away the hassles of having to learn something complicated. I don't harbor any grand plans on being a big-shot content creator but who knows, as someone who is closing in on retirement, this drone may be the start of a new lifestyle where, as a solo hiker, I can share experiences of my hikes and make a modest contribution back to society.

I would use it when I go out running, I hate carrying gear around and this looks like a good solution that follows you. Of course the runs will have to be short since the battery is only 10 minutes. I love the propeller sound canceling feature, that's huge. Thank you again for a great entertaining and educational video.

Wow that is so simple to use and no need to worry about learning to fly or crashing it as it automatically flies. This would be great for my China travel as it would give a different perspective when filming.

Having recently moved into retirement, I am embarking on a longtime dream which started as a book-writing idea that would take me all over the country to research. That idea has recently been evolving and expanding into creating a series of awareness-raising videos on the same subject. Using drones was considered but, until watching this very informative video, I was unconvinced of their manageability. Now that doubt has been erased. Thank you for sharing it with us.

I just quit my job and started travelling solo. Been on the fence about starting a channel to document my adventures since taking shots or video footage whilst travelling alone seems to be really difficult. I've been apprehensive of using drones, as they seem to be a lot of work and for a solo traveller, it seems like a lot of baggage as well. This hover camera seems to be a perfect solution for solo travellers like me though! Most importantly, love that the cage protects people from getting hurt! Compact, easy to operate and decent image quality!

I’ve been using a 360° camera but this drone will definitely provide better perspectives of my runs and showcase the scenes where I run.

I would use it for all my wild camping trips. Hiking in the lake district and the peak district is a passion and the Hover Camera X1 would provide so many lovely viewpoints for my family and friends to see. Love it.

I do long distance hiking and the Hoverair camera X1 would be great to show my surroundings in some amazing places. Its small size and weight is a great bonus.

Thank you for the great video and detailed explanations. A slightly different drone but easy to use, very portable and for quick great video setups.

I do a lot of hiking and having a big drone becomes an inconvenience, carrying the weight and extra batteries. I also have a trip coming up to Puerto Rico and something small and compact and light. Sounds like a great idea. Thanks for creating a contest for such a cool product.
