The Zip-line! I didn't know it does excist! Thank you!

@@ninakrzyzanskinaturfotografie I got sent the zip-line about 12months ago but never got around to testing it. It really surprised me how fun it was to use and how great the shots came out. I might very well do a dedicated video on the zip-line in the future, I'm curious to see how it would perform with a 360 camera attached so that the framing could be adjusted in post.

Thanks and welcome to the club 🛎️ 😀👌
You just keep coming up with better ways to create content. Your end result definitely felt there was a cameraman.
The zip line was a total game changer. I thought you had help till I saw that part. Amazing
That cell phone zip line thing is genius. One use I could see is in places where drones are illegal like our National Parks here in Canada.
I don't have a camera and don't have a good phone for shots, don't have a gimbal, don't have that extension pole, editing skill not very good... But still I try my best to click some cinematic videos that why I really like your video and watch you when I'm free ❤️ Love from Pakistan 🇵🇰
man that left to right thing... "leaving vs returning." Blew my mind apart!
It really just boils down to creativity and you don't really need expensive gadgets to capture cinematic B-roll. Thanks for this video, really helps a lot.

This was insane. Been so nervous about filming myself outdoors, but THIS !? This made me feel very very confident, thank you!

Yes, that's right I thought filming a B-roll could be so difficult, but then I realized, that when you're creative you can make it on your own.
This must be my favourite film-making video ever! Beautifully done!!
Nice work! I’m looking for ways to add more B-Roll and camera movement to my videos, so this was really helpful. My favourite tip was the zip line. That’s “next level.” 😀💯
For those who are curious, I only saw one brand for the smartphone zipline on Amazon, it's called Wiral and at this time they only have it used for around $350. As for the AI tracking gimbal, I saw quite a few on those, they range from around $89-$250. Hope this helps!
Brilliant, Steve. So helpful!
That’s brilliant 🙌 tons of great ideas and advice.. thank you 🙏
I couldn't think of how you got some of those shots before I watched how you did it. You call it a game changer, I agree! I love how you explain to set up each effect. I learn a lot from watching your channel, so thank you!
Wow, the zip line technique produced fantastic shots!
Thank you for doing this - I am preparing a longer travel trip and your hints come in with a perfect timing. Thank you for doing your channel - that definitely helps to improved the videos and photos already ad so in the upcoming travel. Thank you Steve, 🖖for sharing your ideas and experiences.
Don't stop, Learn Online Video! My respects!
This video was right up my alley! perfect for my solo hiking/travel channel. I have used many of these shots/angles before (that I have learnt from your past videos, of course) but you just gave me a few other excellent ideas here. Thank you, Steve!
Excellent tutorial as usual Steve. Love your work mate !!
Love everything about this video
This has really made me realise how a simple bit of extra thought and planning shots can make such a huge difference - Fabulous stuff - thank you
Thank you friend for providing a very inspiring lesson👍
As always, the tips and tricks are very valuable and helpful!
Great work! Thank you!
That was amazing. It depends on who you’re asking. Someone who knows about shooting footage could probably tell it’s solo but to a random person looks like you had a whole crew. Thank you for this.
Really amazing techniques told by you as usual 👍👍
Sam! Great workshop! Thanks for showing me the techniques for shooting! I'm sure you shot everything on your own.
Just love your videos. Keep making them.
What an extraordinary footage.. Goosebumps seeing the final version with apt music and sound effects. Aspiring to make videos like u.. 🥰😍
That was amazing and impressive b roll sequence. I learned a lot👌👌. Thanks a lot Steve🙏
very useful tips! I'm always picking up new tricks when I watch your videos! thanks!
Loved this
Material extremadamente valioso para quien se esta iniciando y para quienes ya tienen alguna experiencia , gracias
The results are really amazing 😮🔥🔥
love it!!... great tips
Beautiful!
Awesome video! So many great tips. My only thing is the zip wire would get in lots of shots but probably still good for travelling videos like this.
Another great video! I really found your ideas great and inspiring. I know I get concerned that I don’t have all the latest and greatest equipment, but you once again show with a few tools - even just your smartphone - and some creativity you can create great videos. In the final film, if I hadn’t known you filmed it by yourself I would have thought you had another person filming you. Thanks again for the great video tutorials.
This was amazing. Awesome and creative
Hi Steve, thank you so much for always sharing your knowledge specially for me as a beginner by just using some of the filming techniques of making videos using an iPhone .Indeed a very useful and interesting video.
Wow! Excellent guidance and so we illustrated. Thanks 🙏 I’ve used many of those techniques I was pleased to realise. The zip line was totally new to me though and I’m still considering a smart gimbal for my iPhone (you’ve sold me on the idea!). My DJI Mini 3 Pro is indeed what I would use for those low following shots rather than a zip line. This was a valuable watch so thanks again. I will subscribe!
Awesome Video as usual, Steve!! EXCELLENT TUTORIALS!
Wow.. thank for sharing, this is incredible!🙏
Thanks for sharing this technique is truly amazing and useful for beginners and those without a camera crew 😊👍
Thanks a lot for making this content, bro. It really helps me get more creative and research more on my own. I hope you keep getting more and more success in giving out to the community for free, wich is crazy. Thanks a lot
Fantastic video with great advice - thank you for sharing
Thank you for this awesome tutorial ❤❤❤
great content and no one will know you shot it solo, but you did.
Wow! Thanks for the amazing tips on the camera work. I have been using Epidemic sound for a couple years now, and I never knew about the thing you showed where you can sample a good part and it will find you similar sounding stuff. Very much appreciated!

Ive been watching your vids nonstop eversince this morning and i just got so excited trying these for myself that i ordered myself a gimbal already. This looks so fun!!!!
you're incredible, thanks for sharing all those kind of tips👍🤙👏
Very useful tips for shots as well as how they can go together. I love the mix and it definitely kept me interested. I can't really answer the question about solo/camera man ... I watch several adventure creators shooting by themselves and always enjoy and then I think about how much work and backtracking they did to get themselves and vehicles etc. into the footage. But while I am watching, if the creator is good, I never think about it :) ... same with this. I knew you were shooting solo but I got intrigued with the sequence.

Amazing video! Thanks for share with us
Absolutely wonderful
We didn't even hear the helicopter in the final shot doing the zoomed in orbit. Yes I know there wasn't a helicopter but that was a superb final shot.
That was great - plenty of ideas to help to improve my work. Just one question - how long did it take you to make that video - including planning, filming and editing?
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing this with us! It inspired me for sure!
This was bloody awesome 👌 fair play buddy and thanks for the tips again. Love your videos.
Had to keep reminding myself this was shot on a mobile phone. The use of the zip line was brilliant and I only saw the line in shot because you mentioned it,otherwise I’d be thinking of a drone shot. Gotta to go and try some of these myself. Thanks again for a very educational and inspiring video
I can underline all of your tips. I also use the Wiral lite flying cam, whenever possible, although it is sometimes a pain in the ass to set everything up, if you are traveling alone... Your location for this demo was ideal, because so secluded with nearly no other tourist... But imagine the normal situation, where it is maybe a risk, leaving the 1200$+ iPhone behind you to walk away 20 meters... Good luck 😬🤪

Hey @WasmitReisen, I agree, The Wiral Lite flying cam can be a fantastic tool, although it can sometimes be a bit cumbersome to set up, especially when traveling alone. Location choice is key with all of these shots, this location was perfect for demonstration purposes but capturing solo Broll in the city (or any built up areas) is much more challenging. Personally, I would avoid leaving camera gear unattended altogether in busy locations and focus on shots using an extension pole combined with cutaway shots. This would allow you to capture both shots of yourself and your location but still keep all your equipment safe. Thanks for watching.

@@LearnOnlineVideo that's the reason, why I meanwhile love my Insta 360 One RS 1" ... it allows interesting angles and surprising views, has - because of the 1" chip and the Leica lens - a very good quality even after framing -- and it stays next to me, connected through the short or long invisible Stick 🙂

@@LearnOnlineVideo ... and, "one little more thing"... I just bought the Hover Air X "Flying selfie stick" it's a no brainer concerning operation (only 125 gramm) and is meanwhile my must have for follow or dolby shots. So easy - even, if you have to do a moderation, because the app filters all drone noise nearly perfectly...
@madeiraislander
7 ай бұрын
@@WasmitReisen Hey there, how are you liking your Hover Air X? I've been researching it, and it looks pretty cool! Can it detect branches and stuff if you film in a forest? or will it fly straight into stuff?
@WasmitReisen
7 ай бұрын
@@madeiraislander my experience right now is, that the hover can avoid obstacles very very well in follow mode. But if you choose dolly mode (camera in front of you, filming you while flying backwards), there is no object detection, and the hover would crash if something is in the flight pass
Brilliant, as always
What a cool effect that zipline thing does!
Hi Steve. What frame rate did you use for the B-roll shots? Thanks
