I ran into this deck 3 times in a row and I'm already done with the miniset, see yall next expansion xD

As someone who has played pretty hard-core for the past year, it seems pretty meta defining. It just does everything. Life gain, board development, value, card draw, ramp, explosive turns. Almost as if shattered reflections was a bit too strong

The one thing you didn't name is removal, which is the key to beating them. I've been playing totem shaman with Shroomscavate, and it just farms druid. They can't remove your windfury minion, they can't remove Ey'sor, they can barely even touch your little totems, so bloodlust is always a threat. I imagine Paladin could also build a similarly aggressive token/buff deck. It reminds me of the mech rogue + miracle druid meta all over again. Druid is rock, snowbally windfury deck is paper, everything else is scissors.

I still think highlander excevate Paladin is stronger, it has powerful aggro and multiple board wipes

@@rivetace In my experience its also really struggles against decks with several board clears. I've been playing Reno Warrior (original, I know), and the deck just cant deal with Brawl, Brawler, Reno, Sanitize, ect.

@@xx_megamate_xx2508 I saw NoHands play a version with Fizzle that could use the 5 mana copy spell on Fizzle to go infinite. Once that catches on, you won't be able to outvalue druid. Granted, that version takes more skill to pull off well

@@xx_megamate_xx2508 I'm 6-3 against reno warrior, it's hard for them to deal with the charge beetle shattered combo. And I play it with a dragon package so most of the times they'll use reno and brawl on my dragon boards and can steam rolled by 20 charge damage in back to back turns. The ONLY time I lose is a coined brann on 5. Normally anything else is too slow

Name a more iconic duo than Druid and being broken day 1 of a set release

@@TherealNiqqayou ain’t seeing warriors dropping a board full of 8/8 and 5/5 with two titans while also healing back to full with 30 armor on turn 6. A warrior on turn 6 is playing brann and if they do against a Druid they are probably dead and why would Druid care about double battlecry Astalor when they have more than 50 health and can heal back to full when needed

@@N3mdraz The point isn't turn 2 crypt keeper. The point is by time you get damage to the Druid's face they're at 10 mana and still 40+ health and you've lost.

Arena is quite funny again. Like the mechanic, that you can draft a treasure.

They still need to put retire on a timer or remove it so you dont run into mass retired botted decks.

I literally am currently in a very dumb game with an eonar druid as an excavate warrior. Boom boss thogrun really comes in handy the tnt blew up both their 10 mana weapon and yoggsaron

Try therazane elemental druid. Put in 2 death blossom whompers, 2 of the maze locations, therazane and a bunch of elementals without deathrattle. Use the death blossom to Tudor therazane and use the locating to trigger the deathrattle. Quadruple stats for deck and hand incredibly consistently.

YESSSSSS, finally a Hearthstone video, hoppefully the mini-set makes you comeback at least for a few days

I beat this deck this morning on Plauge DK, but I had to Reska into prosthetic hand on their first pop off turn then azerite rat on their second to do it. Stole 4 total Eonar and a naga giant with Sylvanis. Disgusting deck

I like that we are back to Naga Giants enabling nonsense armor in Druid. If anyone remembers when Sunken City came out and we were miracling out Naga Giants and hitting them with Earthen Scales. Got that card nerfed. Maybr theh nerf this card for that amoung other broken things

Also Regis didn't do that because value, but I reckon the mage game could be closed WAY faster with Shattered Reflections on Naga Giant. Since he didn't need health and you generally don't need more than one Eonar draw, they would probably be just better than copying Eonars over and over.

Regis you could have reflections'd before using Eonar's abilities, and the summoned copy could refresh your mana again

I sense nerfs. Who had the bright idea of giving a class with the titan that can refresh your mana a way to get up to 3 more copies of it? I think the only effective way to nerf it while keeping it somewhat viable is only adding copies to hand and deck, so you actually have to pay mana.

I tried instead therazane druid... I played 4 128/94 or something like that in 2 turns using 6 mana that gains deathrattle and locations

There's a variant of this deck that runs fizzle and can go forever with no fatigue.

Pendant of Earth and Shattered Reflections Gives realable draws of Titans(you can have 7). For the Priests they have to invest time and turns , but it's still disgusting. For Druid it's like playig a custom mod game.

There is no way to balance classes that can do it vs the rest. Right now is not possible to have fun vs Druid.

Paladin kills on turn 4, and Druid plays 4 10-cost cards on turn 5. Totally balanced

I find it funny how there is almost always a bit of hate for priest but druid becomes broken so often it's insane

Managed to beat it once. Never again.

they just killed this deck :( , shattered reflections no longer add one to hand, deathstroke is pendant now heal instead of giving armor. That armor is one of the only things that keep you alive, and make you pump out some early taunts.

Honestly this is probably one of the more broken mini sets I’ve seen so far. Brann seems absolutely unfair and the Druid stuff seems busted af

One of the reasons I recently quit HS is because Druid and Rogue are never not strong, and every strong deck at Legend rank is just your opponent playing PvE and ignoring your board development until they finish Exodia and win. It’s even less interactive than Exodia, though, because their deck has five different Exodias in it (half of them based around random card generation), so even if you combo disrupt, they have five other ways to kill you that you can’t tech. Hearthstone is dead. Maybe the servers are active and played on, but the game itself is all about mana cheat, decks with six win conditions, and uninteractive PvE-to-win ramp and value loop. I miss when the worst version of this was Togwaggle Druid, and you could at least run a tempo rogue and smash them with Leroy turn 6. Heck, winning a game with Tog Druid was so satisfying, too. You had to thread the needle. I miss those days.

This game looks well confusing

ramp is the core of druid's brokenness. Being able to constantly do about twice what your opponent can do in a turn in mid game is just too much.

And the fact that NOT ONLY can they ramp extremely fast, while no one else can ramp at all, but they have insane, crazy, amazing good healing (armor gain) that is by far the best of every class and also the best high cost win conditions. They do it all!

The only solution to this is giving ramp to all classes. Make a few neutral ramp cards

@@ForGeUT Yeah but it would dilute druid's character. It's like giving every class access to a lot of stealth, divine shield, windfury etc.. There are neutral cards with these keywords but the strong ones are class ones. These keywords being mostly tied to a class they give them character, i think upping some costs and maybe nerfing some effects is enough

So they would still be the best at it with their own exclusive ramp cards, but make some neutral options for everyone else. Just as every class can mana cheat. Brann for warrior should've also been neutral, it's an unfair advantage for just one class to have.

I hardly play standard anymore. I started in Blackrock Mountain. Im tired of Druidstone. Same crap for the entire history of the game.

Why... just why...every damn expansion we have to deal with these insane druid combos. I'm so done watching my opponent build an entire board of giant minions at turn 5 while also getting an obscene amount of health/armor, completely erasing any type of chance i had of winning or turning things around. Delete druid, and people who play it too honestly.

I love your content and I’m always happy to see a new Regis hearthstone video but your post ast couple videos are personally a testament to how little attention the devs are actually paying to the game, this balance has been horrible and unfun and serves only to incentivize bad game patterns and more explosive and short games, seems like they’re just quietly tuning out and leaving the game to rot

I starting to dislike Hearthstone more and more after each expansion where they just keep boosting classes like Paladin and Druid. Also that new Brann in Warrior this new mini set is so freakin braindead. Once you draw and play it, the next turns feel like you play in automatic mode and whatever you do will win you the game. Just freewheeling for wins almost.

This miniset sucked ass. Especially as a mage player who got nothing but shitty cards while everyone else got broken braindead shit.

If the deck is not highlander, reno makes no sense at all... the deck is strong, but maybe the same list but highlander would be better in my opinion. Or you can simply not play reno and play another legendary card with this list. Tell me if I'm wrong!

Yeah I play a Reno warrior that runs 2 bladestorm, bellowing flames, val’kyr, and craftsman hammer. 73% wr over 50 games highlander cards have always definitely been worth it in a bunch of decks that run two ofs historically
