These Secret Interrogation Tactics FAILED To Crack Jodi Arias Into Confessing Murder

These secret interrogation tactics were used but failed to crack Jodi Arias into confessing murder of Travis Alexander, body language and police interrogation secrets.
As many of you know, Jodi Arias was the 28-year-old woman at the time, who was convicted of sadly murdering her 31-year-old ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander on June 4, 2008. It’s believed that Jodi did it in jealousy that if she couldn’t have Travis, no one could. We pick up here when Jodi Arias was first arrested and then interrogated because detectives found substantial DNA evidence linking Jodi at the crime scene; however, despite the mountains of evidence against Jodi, she does not admit any involvement. So, we’re going to break down police interrogation tactics used on Jodi Aries, along with breaking down her body language, to finally reveal their interrogation secrets and what they could have done differently to possibly get a confession out of Jodi Arias.
There’s of course so much more insight into this interrogation where Jodi is shown the photos she took and accidentally took, but this video is already getting pretty long and this is a good stopping point. Maybe we’ll break the rest of this interrogation down in a future video, so give this video a thumbs up so I know you all want to see the rest of this interrogation break down, you wouldn’t believe how wacky she gets.
Now in the comments: What do you think worked well on Jodi and didn’t work very well on her? Let everyone know in the comments below.
Hit that subscribe button now so you don’t miss out on new body language and investigative videos that always seem to shake up KZread, and I’ll see you at the top

@@iona5439 I did, but the supreme court sided with the regular court. This happened like 5 years ago, since then the words to police from me without a lawyer are "No comment" and/or "Call my lawyer" and btw usually it's better to shut up and not say anything but "No comment" IF it doesn't worsen your situation. Remember when your talking to police you are ALWAYS helping them do THEY'RE job! You have the right to not say a single word in investigation. In court remember to plan everything with your lawyers, so there comes no suprises. Always take few xanax before court. That is the place you might want to talk and might need to. The earlier "No comment" statements in pre-investigation phase don't matter nothing. If you say something stupid they bring it up, not your right to stay silent. Good luck!

She was out partying days later and ended up having another kid, which she shouldn't be allowed to have. Leaving the fate of killers, or anyone really, in a jury that knows nothing about anything when it comes to the legal process is a mistake. It's a technique they use all the time. In part to get the person think that the cop still thinks they're a good person, so they open up. They admit they were at the scene of the crime. If they start admitting they've done it, even if it was "accidental", that's way easier to prove otherwise than someone standing firm they didn't do it or weren't there at all.

It’s part of the “Reid technique.” It’s the most widely used interrogation method. It’s the step where you give the suspect a scenario that would let them maintain their sense of self (aka I’m still a good person, i just made a mistake). Sometimes they use that to trip up the suspect, for example “Did you murder him/her because you’re a psychopath or was it a mistake?” And the suspect will probably say “no, I’m not a psychopath!” To which the officer will say “so it was a mistake then?” Cops are REALLY NOT on your side!

Yeah... people really hated Kirk Nurmi, especially (even me, at the time), but he’s actually a really good guy. He was put in a VERY shitty position and forced to do his job to the best of his ability, and he did. I believe he was the only PD that was assigned capital cases at the time so he had no choice (not like any pd does), and Wilmott I believe was a private attorney appointed to assist (but she seems just awful; she’s still working with Jodi either pro Bono or being paid by her weird sugar daddy pen pals, and claiming Jodi was a “domestic abuse survivor” 🙄.) Nurmi did ask to be removed something like 5 times from the case, which the judge denied. He eventually gave up his career to speak out against Jodi afterward (when it couldn’t get her trial thrown out or cause any serious legal issues). He was warned that he would be disbarred for it, and decided he needed to do it anyway. He tried pretty hard to steer her from that defense strategy, iirc.

Small note, I've watched this case pretty closely. She didn't take those pictures to review "her work". They were taken by accident, likely because they were having a shower photoshoot when she decided to kill him. She had no intention of getting those pictures back and threw the camera in the washing machine hoping everything will be destroyed, particularly the pictures they took naked of themselves that day before the murder. They were snapped because of the camera banging around, so I don't even think she knew photos after the murder even existed. Or if she did, she didn't bother and thought they would get wiped just like the others. She just wanted to erase the ones before to remove all evidence of her even being there the day of the murder.

Would love to see Jodi and Chris Watts interact! Basically either lie to each other or commiserate with each other!
