These Products SHOULD BE in SERBIA, But They’re Not | unpacking the parcel from RUSSIA 🇷🇺

Yo guyz, it’s me Kseniya! Life in Serbia is great, especially when it come to Serbian food, but if we want to talk about some specialties… like sauces… or snacks… Well, I had to order them from Russia. Russian food is kinda similar with Serbian, but Russian market is completely different, even the imported products are absolutely different. Like HEINZ sauces. Have you ever tasted ALL HEINZ sauces FLAVOURS? Me neither, but I would beat you with my list, cuz in Russia we have A RANGE of all different kinds of sauces… and I’m a big sucker for sauces, so I really struggle here without them.
Also in this video I’m gonna show you some Russian snacks that go so well with beer (no matter if it’s Serbian beer or Russian beer), like dried fish, sukhariki etc.
Let’s open the parcel from Russia together! ✌🏻

I used to live in Russia for 1.5 years and had many drinking nights with my Russian friends and they always had those dry fish as snacks. I HATED that stuff, especially the realy dry (and smelly) kind. If it had "Икра" inside it was even worse with bitter taste. I remember, they used to burn fish bladder with a match stick and small children would shew it as a chewing gum. I always pretended that I liked that horrible fish, not to insult them.😂 Some fish were good though. I liked a type od raw, greesy fish they called "Рибець" Russian beers are also excellent with great variety, my favourite was "Донское". I liked that they had draft beer on the tap in every bigger supermarket. Good times....I miss them

Hi Kseniya. How lovely to see you so upbeat again! I don't know how much is because of the soft light from frame left and how much is due to your working out and not drinking lots of beer but you look really great! Wow - Russian food packages for Serbian refugees! We used to call ketchup 'tomato sauce' where I grew up in Australia, and it was a toss up between Heinz and Rosella, a great local brand. I suppose most of the world has grown up with Heinz ketchup (Russia too?). Looks like they have set the standard. Heck - you have Russian Heinz sauces I've never heard of before! You are Such a foodie Kseniya! It really is WHO you are. You have very distinctive tastes in what foods you like and high standards. You would make a most creative chef. 'Some Like it Hot' is going to be an amazing restaurant one day: '...kinda spicy but in a Russian way...'. People will be lining up in the street for an authentic spicy taste of Russia. Maybe once you establish a liking for some of these Russian delights in Serbia, you could establish a small import business that feeds both your restaurant and the locals? I see you have given up avoiding alcohol with the need for beer to go with the dried squid. Fair enough, you held out for a while I guess. Remember though that along with its other less than desirable side effects beer puts on weight and now medical experts claim more than 2 beers a week could be a trigger for cancer. (I don't want to see a premature end to your videos mate)! I personally prefer my squid in calamari (preferably in a crunchy batter, cooked properly so it doesn't feel like I'm biting into a rubber grommet) with maybe a little sriracha dip on the side and yes, that goes well with a beer. (That reminds me, I must start a new batch of brown ale). Looks like you need good teeth to enjoy minkie whale ("the smell of Russia"). Never heard of sucking fish before, but I guess if you have dentures or delicate bridgework, that may be your only option to enjoy it. Anchovies (when marinated well so they are not just salt bombs) help to make an unbelievably nice Napolitana pizza, if you know how to make it the authentic Italian way. Back when the world was young there used to be a restaurant called Rugantino in Leichhardt, the Sydney Italian district, which made the most exquisite Napolitana pizza I've ever tasted. Never come across anything like it since, but then I've not yet made it to Naples. Don't be too quick to diss anchovies mate! Thanks for opening your Russian food package with us Kseniya. You were so excited and happy and I'll bet Daniel's fondness for his Babushka is growing with every package. Looking forward the you second video, but don't organize the sheer joy this one had out of it!

Hi Tim! Lol now I remember that we had heinz since childhood, but not all of Russians ate it :) Every time you mention my future restaurant it makes me feel dreamy 😁 I’m careful with alcohol now, guess I’m learning how to cope with it carefully. And yea, I lost weight, that’s why I look better 😅. Thanks a lot Tim, as always ❤️❤️❤️

@@SailorNom Now look what you've done! You have me researching authentic Italian Napoletana recipies now. If I succeed, my wife will love this pizza and she will have no idea that it was inspired by a Russian. I'm getting ahead of myself but were this to actually work out, I might even buy an Ooni propane pizza oven to park next to the barbecue. You may have made lots of people happy with this video!
