Wow, the models look great and the animations have a lot of personality. Not bad for a first attempt at going 3D, not bad at all.

I didn't think I would ever like a goat mon, but Nexomon did it right. The Boi looks so fun and spunky, I'm definitely gonna add it to my team ✌️

I am still hpyed for Nexomon 3! The models are awesome in 3D and the transition is clean hoping we see the Turn Based Battle System for Nexomon 3 since we know it will be 3 v 3.

The writing in Nexomon extinction is hilarious, super underrated. I’m liken the 3d models and had no idea they were making the switch. Very cool

The models looks great and the monsters are full of personality. It’s also important to note the development is still ongoing so things are subject to change/improve in the future

I started all over again in coromon on my main save. I chose some different coromon like a potent cubzero with a potential of 17. I have a perfect armadon which is my most favorite coromon because it’s a werearmadillo. I’ve got a perfect infinix. I’ve got a perfect Daricara. I’ve got a potent Humbee with a potential of 19. Finally I have a perfect caradune which I was originally trying to get either a potent centilla with a potential of 19 or 20, or just try to get a perfect centilla. Sorry for typing a paragraph.

Genuinely impressed. Nexomon's 2D art has always looked like cheap flash art. This 3D art looks of uniform style and aesthetic.

Absolutely loved the first two games, just hoping this series doesn't go to shit with the transition to 3d like Pokemon did.

I'm personally of the belief that Pokémon should've stayed 2d and expanded on the Gen 5 Sprites, so I was VERY skeptical when I heard that Nexomon was transitioning to 3d, but these models actually look really good.

Saw the video when it was released last week and I thought the model work was amazing.

i like the purple wasp and the crab thingy the most :)

I'm still not completely sold on the game transitioning to 3D. I really like the Nexomon and Nexomon Extinction style more.

@@nobodyflowers I'm looking forward to trying out the full game and seeing if it grows on me, but for now, I'm not a huge fan. And some of those Nexomon in 3D look kind of strange to me. I think they would look better in the old style.

Not writing it off yet until it comes out. I personally like 3d style and if they pull it off it'll be a massive W for the nexomon series. I hear from quite a few people the art is what is keeping them from trying it at this point. Also battle mechanics being kinda janky sometimes.

Worked for pokemon.... not for me but for most it would seem 3d is the play. I'm a weird person who loves 2d and I'll take that over this any day.. but it would seem the general pop loves 3d pokemon .. palworld ect ect

They look a lot like Temtem ;p I dont know, is it worth it to go 3d? I believe fast battles and no loading screens and rich story with action is the way to go. If the battle takes 2 seconds to start because it's 3d, that's a huge downside.

I played both Nexomon 1 and 2 but it never made me want to try to collect all the monsters. I mean they did look good but something was missing that I didn't feel like I did in other monster collectors. Not sure why...

​@Bryanneo1 This. I absolutely love Nexomon and Nexomon Extinction, but yes. Only 3 stats feels off to me. I think that's a large part why Coromon has been my favourite monster tamer lately. I want old Pokemon, not modern Pokémon, and I feel Coromon is the closest we have gotten to that so far.

still disappointed this will be in 3D. Depending on the pc requirements I won't be able to play it, like Palworld.

im a bit bummed on the art design. i wish the made it more anime style with popping colors and outlines to keep it the same style with nexomon 2.. Pokemon messed up the 3d trying to make it too realistic.. go the anime 3d art style and you have a big winner

Gamefreak, once again, NEEDS TO TAKE NOTES. From Gen 6 onwards, the models had absolutely NO personality. Super little movements, facing straight forward all the time, always in a pretty standard pose, for some reason. If ZA doesn't really wow me, I'll probably no longer get any new Pokemon games from that point on.

Look I get what you say I’ve played Pokémon all the way to Gen then skipped the games until legends Arcues was released and then skipped Gen 9 but here’s the thing Pokémon models have always been good it’s just Gamefreak has been doing really bad job with the animations things got a little better in legends Arcues and SV but it should be way better

Yeah it definitely getting better, for example the new charizard model looks WAYYY cleaner.

Without proper PvP it won't stand a chance.

@@GymLeaderEd because apart from completionist mentality, the mons need to have a use. And either gym like battles or PvP are two ways to make things ryt. Why aim for just a million players why not aim higher or take a shot at the king of monster collectors

​@GymLeaderEd While I agree, PVP should be there for the option. People really overestimate the percentage that actually engage with it. They all end up dead, which just makes it funny. Hell even Pokemon while by far having the most longevity ends up being like 2% of the playerbase at most. Which is a huge number but nothing compared to the entire fandom. People pick up these types of game to play with cool/cute/strange creatures, beat the main story, might do some shiny hunting here or there, and then move on to making fanart or fanfiction. Most even have to hack or come up with specific rules to get more out of the games, even some of these indies. Nexomon and others will be fine as long as they focus on what's important. Making them a good experience.

@@JusaWanderer then they should add it as a post game feature imo. So many games in development like mythren and kindred have been delayed and have put so much work into PvP when the majority of players are interested in the pve.

I just hope it’s a Real-Time combat system. I’m just so tired of “you tinka-turn”, “I tinka-turn” ass combat… =___= like it doesn’t matter what kind “Kawaii” design the monsters have, or if it’s not “fully turn based” these games are feeling so static and this point I’m like…. Forcing myself to be a fan of the community as a whole!? We need to do what final fantasy has done and go ahead and make the transition as an entire community not to say just get rid of turn based ALL TOGETHER but it does not need to be the standard anymore 🤢

I believe Kindred Fates is going with a real time battle system so keep an eye on that one. Personally I'd rather have the classic turn-based combat but I'm fine either way.

@@TamerLyriQ some games would benefit from making that jump, but the reason the classic turn based should stick around is the same reason pixel art should stick around. It’s a fundamental of the genre. It’s something to build on. The genre is in a growing stage where most of its growth is coming from indie devs who often don’t have the resources to make a lot of action games. Action requires animation, and monster tamers require lots of monsters to animate. Even gamefreak has this issue due to their tight schedules and prioritizing of other things. Indie devs should stick to what works until they have the funding and fanbase to step out. The real problem is devs making cookie cutter battle systems that wouldn’t translate to action well because at its core it’s still like something else. The turn based wouldn’t be so boring if it was more dynamic. There are even semi turn based systems that work better for certain games. I think this trend is going to continue until something substantial blows up.

@@nobodyflowers honestly? I think if group think elevates, then the devs will rise to the occasion. Why don’t think we have so many genshin likes now? Or battle royales. It kinda starts internally, but the problem is most of the community are REALLY big on the nostalgia that comes with pixel art but the problem with that is, it gives the perception to those outside of the genre (who are the people we really need to shuck and jive for as a whole, because without them none of us are ever going to get anything better because the funding simply won’t be there, hello), that monster taming is still this kiddy easy going genre mainly for momentary nostalgia feels, or maybe momentary new experience feels like Palworld, instead of its own genre that should be taken seriously and invested into. People came in DROVES for arceus, people went out of their way to buy switches who hadn’t even THOUGHT of Pokemon in years, just for the IDEA that a Pokemon would be able to end them. That’s what the common non-tamer for arceus for. The question becomes, how do we make THAT experience and popularity uptick the standard which will establish us as a genre A LOT faster than not? More dynamic games, higher stakes, appealing present day textures. I do understand that it’s not super realistic for smaller Indy studios to pump out lots and lots of those games? But I think if the standard is that “eventually we expect you to evolve to a dynamic realtime combat system without compromising” devs will plan appropriately. Now THAT problem becomes us. Consumers are annoying. So are we even gonna give these devs the grace and time needed to actually provide us this magical super perfect isekai-esque dynamic monster taming game… mmm 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️ we’ve pretty patient with pocket pair, so maybes? 🤷🏽‍♂️ Also maybe we’re both a little right and the demand for more dynamic monster taming experiences will Open the door to even better endeavors for pixel art and unique takes on combat entirely, maybe there’s another option besides turn based, semi-turn based, and realtime that we as a whole just simply aren’t seeing… what that option could be logistically I’ll never know because what else is left, but what if there is !? All in all long as the game isn’t so static that I’m falling asleep strategizing I’ll be happy 😂
