I'm not even sure what that means so I don't think so. I like learning so I know a lot about a bunch of different things like cars, guns, stocks, watches, shoes, fitness, fashion, computer technology, etc

- In my top 10 favourite fights. Terminator 1, 2 and Robocop are some of my favourite movies. Both still hold up. - The Arnold Terminator was originally the villain in the 1st but was the hero in the sequels - "Get to the chopper" is from Predator. Both have Arnold Schwarzenegger in them - When they said "shark jumping" they're referring to the term "jumping the shark"

9:59 "Jump Sharks" When a show or series "Jumps the shark" it means "reach a point at which far-fetched events are included merely for the sake of novelty, indicative of a decline in quality". The phrase comes from an episode of Happy Days, a sitcom from back in the day, where The Fonz (the cool one) jumps a shark while surfing, and the audience decided that was too ridiculous and the ratings declined sharply.

Because he was dared to jump it. When in the previous ep the morale of the episode was to not do everything people tell you to do to look cool. So… yeah

One issue they had with some of the earlier Death Battles was saving some of the more essential details until after the battle, but they've gotten better about that. I honestly felt a little cheated by the fact Robocop's shiv plug didn't come into play. Terminator's easily reprogrammable software is a critical weakness that Robocop could've capitalized on

@TheSmashMaster9000 On the contrary, when they scanned each other at the start of the battle, Robocop's scan detected Terminator's hydrogen batteries. If he could find that power source, at a minimum he'd have assumed his opponent was robotic, at least in part

I was thinking that too about the hacking. But it makes sense, since the Terminator wouldn't have a docking port for Robocop to connect to. Unless I forgot a part of the movies where he can just jam it into a machine and it still hacks somehow.

You asked what it was to be Robocops actor? It goes like this. During shooting the suit he ore took about 10 hrs the first time he tried, it became easier tho. The weight meant that his actor was sweating buckets and the suit had too be ouyfitted with fans to prevent dehydration. And to top it all off, to help with this problem even more, robocops movements were changed to be stiff and robotic. Yes, thats literally the reason he moves like that and its awesome

Yeah, them sort of 'hiding' the deciding feats was a thing they used to do. Fortunately they're a lot better at not doing that now. Sometimes they'll show the feat but not do the numbers until afterwards, but I don't remember the last time they straight up did something like this

Sure, but "hiding" the feats of Terminator or RoboCop is like "hiding" the feats of a Jedi or a Klingon. The stuff is just general knowledge at this point and they're not expecting some "from under a rock" KZreadr to watch it.

I love Terminator, so I can't deny it hurt seeing him lose, but I'll begrudgingly say it's accurate. But it was still a *really* good fight.

@mrpurply i believe there was a comic where he did kill an army of terminators. i believe in the comic they exist in the same universe. theres robocop, then later theres the terminators and after they are defeated it goes into judge dredd i think.

Ah, robocop and Terminator, two franchises born from the "future is bleak" phase from the 80's. To answer your question about if the terminator is a good guy: yes and no. In the first movie he was the villain, but the sequels have him going in as a hero to protect John from other models of terminators Skynet sends back.

"Get to the choppa!" is from Predator not Terminator. Same actor though.

Or start a patreon and start doing full length movie reactions in exchange for people paying a certain amount a month. Hope that helps.

Also, if you are still worried about it getting taken down, you could just do a sync timer like some other reactors and we just sync up our movies with it. just a thought :)

Bruh the first time I watched Robocop it was on TV around 10 years ago I was 9 or 10 years old at the time... it's epic, gory and badass I recommended that you watch the unrated version

So, a few things to note. This episode’s animation marks the debut of now RT animator Torrian Crawford. And believe me, you’re gonna be seeing his work on Death Battle a LOT. This is the second episode this season to have proper voice acting after He-Man VS Lion-O. Terminator’s VA, Joe Gaudet, was(and maybe still is, idk) a famous Arnold Schwarzenegger impersonator. RoboCop’s VA, Xander Mobus, returns to DB after voicing Lion-O. As I mentioned before, he’s also the current Smash announcer, and he also voices Joker in Persona 5. That gunshop owner Terminator time traveled to, and then murdered, was voiced by TeamFourStar VA Curtis Arnott AKA Takahata101, who also previously voiced Shadow the Hedgehog in his previous Death Battle. Also you are tied 3 wins 3 losses for Season 2

Can we be scared that a dystopian future Detroit requiring advanced robot police looks better than Detroit now? I'm Scared, save us skynet!

Fun fact, both Terminator and RoboCop are in Mortal Kombat as guest charecters.

Dude. I can't believe you didn't watch the original Terminators. I highly recommend, especially Judgement Day. You could also give Salvation a try, as it is the third best movie after the first one.

First 2 terminator movies are really good. The get to the chopper is another movie that also stars Arnold

Watch Terminator 1 and 2, the others are trash. The “Get to the Choppa!” is a different movie that Arnold is in. I suggest watching a video that has all of Arnold’s best qoutes.

To be fair. When this first came out I thought the Terminator would win as well. But I do agree with the final result, just not the presentation. Also what makes the Terminator character unique is that he has been both the hero and the villain in the movies. In terms of old-style 80s movies both the Terminator and the RoboCop are ones that I would recommend to you.

You should watch both of these movies, you will not be disappointed.

8:59 real talk. It’s a literal android cop. And it costs 12,000$ a day to maintain. When we have jets and planes that cost near billions to maintain a year. I’d say that’s a bargain for all he can do.

If you plan to watch the movies on your own time Duck then here's some tips: Terminator- T1 are T2 objectively the best , the other worthwhile movie is maybe T3 if only because it gives a suprisingly solid bookend to the franchise (if it had ended there). After that, don't even bother. It goes from 'meh' to soulless to just straight up insulting Robocop- its kind of a downward spiral similar to the Terminator films. R1 is excellent, R2 is decent and R3 is a mess There is also a live action TV show which I heard was suprisingly ok

It's pretty hard for them to walk through everything both of them have ever done, so unless you know the characters you'll be going in blind, it's just how it be

The robot that looks like a knight is Sir Killalot. It’s from a series called Robot Wars and was one of 5 house robots.

I've only seen the first 2 terminator movies, both are amazing, and the first Robocop movies Also both are dlc fighters for Mortal Kombat 11

Terminator is a villain in the first film, in the second and third he was hacked and became a hero.

The whole point is for you to guess who wins before you have all the info (unless for some reason you already have on the info because it's your fandom). The end is to explain the differences between why one beat the other. Had they told all that Robocop suvival shit before the battle, everyone would have known who had won right then and there. lol

The "get to the chopper" line is a reference for the movie PREDATOR; however, in your defense Arnold Schwarzenegger is in that movie too. 😁👍

Late 70's and 80's movies are simply gold. I was born in 94 and I used to watch so many movie with my mom growing up, she was a huge movie buff. Anything from that era of cinema was always a welcome treat. If my mom were alive she'd tell you how obsessed I was with these characters. Back when blockbuster was in full swing, we'd go there to rent movies and I'd always want to watch Power Rangers, TMNT, Terminator 2, RoboCop, Rocky, Godzilla and The Iron Giant. If you haven't seen any of them I suggest you do, many movies now days try to mimic what made all those movies great.

These movies ARE awesome, Ducky. The Robocop vs Terminator video game for the Sega Genesis was also a favorite of mine.

They don't tell you everything in death battle cuz they want it to be a surprise if they did tell you everything you would automatically know who wins

Here's the thing... them hiding the deciding facts is something that they still do occasionally to this day. Not as often, but still. Mainly because if they told you those facts, you'd be able to deduce more easily who would win... and then you'd be less likely to watch the fight.

Terminator was a bad guy in the first movie. But the Terminators in every other movie were captured reprogrammed ones sent back in time to protect John Connor. So yeah, he’s a good guy. Since the evil one is literally dead. Lol

"I'll be back" is actually in a lot of Arnold movies lol. It's kinda funny.

Get to the chopper comes from the first Predator movie.

This is probably the highest contested result in a death battle, second only to the superman versus goku fight...

The reason why the Terminator asked for clothes is because the time machine in the future can't send clothes or weapons for some reason. Every time someone gets sent back in time they have to get sent back nude. So that means no future weapons except for ones stored under living tissue (like the T-X model in T3: War of the Machines).

Gotta love how this guy was just sitting confused through the Terminator section and then switched to knowing everything for RoboCop!!!

I loved the original movies. I think they did a good job with this Death Battle.(minus the animation) The terminator is free with ads on KZread at the moment.

Dude, they're not going to tell you everything about the two most iconic cybernetic creations in sci-fi history because the vast majority of people have seen both movie franchises. Not knowing anything about either of them is like saying that you don't know anything about Jedi or Klingons. It's like "How have you never seen these two?" and their feats are pretty much general knowledge in contemporary pop culture. I knew that RoboCop would win because the Terminator is designed to kill humans and isn't properly equipped to handle something like RoboCop. The Terminator is literally incapable of hurting RoboCop. The Terminator is marginally faster but RoboCop is an order of magnitude stronger and more durable. He could literally rip a Terminator's arms off with his bare hands. He could also pull a Sub-Zero and rip a Terminator's head clean off with its spine dangling below it. It's a really cool fight because of who they are but it's also a complete mismatch. It kinda reminds me of the old Ninja vs. Spartan Deadliest Warrior episode. Sure, the Ninja was technologically more advanced with steel instead of bronze but the Spartan was a walking tank that was far stronger and far more durable. He could just shrug off everything that the Ninja threw at him.

It's a bit unfair fight as there is a whole game where it was Robocop vs Terminator... and Robocop can kill and all around destroy the T-800's he was fighting, it was a no brainer. It's a great game too, with a very strange plot twist that is kind of cool, well worth watching a full let's play of it.

For the next death battle, maybe Godzilla vs Gamera? Or are you going by playlist?

The Terminator time travels naked cause... 80's Arnold. That explains the clothes. He was the bad guy in the first movie, good guy second... well, anti-hero. My money is on the Terminator for the speed, construction, and abilities over human capacity. Robo cop is limited by his human brain, even though terminator can be hacked, he 'rebooted' in one of the movies.

and now both are in the latest Mortal Kombat!!!

"Wait how was I supposed to know that?" Well.. watching the movies basically ^^U Wiz and Boomstick never once claimed to give a completely 100% about the characters. Watching a battle without prior information is like watching an anime without reading the manga. Certainly enjoyable but you can't exactly blame the anime when something comes out of left field you didn't know was gonna happen

If you haven't, you should really check out the first 2 terminator movies and the first robocop movie

This episode of Death Battle is like the time the Dr. Slump character Arale showed up in Dragon Ball and trounced everyone. She won because she's a gag character whos joke is that she's freakishly strong. You can't beat a gag character because if they lose, it's not funny.

3:00 just to let you know the book arnold wrote about bodybuilding is known by reputation as "the bodybuilders bible" and contains diet and nutrition advice, sports psychology, the treatment and prevention of injuries, and methods of training for best results. His achievements have nothing to do with steroids. (Seriously the guys training regeme was insane) I actually got the book in a sale and it really helped me out (not for bodybuilding i have absolutely no interest in it), but i've always had a weak ankle and would end up spraining it every year ( my ankles going to be a train wreck when im old) but the book had a fantastic guide in ways to strengthen the muscle, and what nutrition's and dietary needs i can fufill to repair as much damage to the muscle and bone i've done to it in my life. (Seriously if you've had any injurys or phisical problems in your life i recommend that book, that thing is *DENSE* )

Arnold doesn't use steroids, that's all natural muscle.

outside of Ben 10 vs Green Lantern, i think Luigi vs Tails is the most controversial video from my point of view.

I highly recommend you watching the first two terminators and maybe the third one as well. They're really good. Perhaps you can react to them somehow.

If I remember correctly, Arnold didn't use steroids but I'm not totally sure.

Honestly this is a problem with death battle where they just decide not to tell us the characters streath untill the end making the analisys completely pointless.

You are doing yourself a great disservice if you don’t watch Robocop and Terminator, also Terminator 2.

I still disagree with the results of this battle. I mean, yeah, Robocop is nigh indestructible in terms of his armor, but in the second movie, he was disabled, captured, and then disassembled by a street gang led by a child. I have no problem imagining the Terminator almost immediately realizing that would be a better option for fighting him once it saw what Roboco's armor composition was.

He was ambushed by a gang armed with a magnet an an OCP 50 Cal. weapon, but it's not as humiliating as the Terminator getting owned by Kyle Reese alone in both the Original movie and in Genisys.

7:11 Wiz's remark on Detroit wasn't too far off the mark. I lived in a suburb of Detroit for decades, and my family and I used to hear a lot on TV and in the papers about how bad things were over there. ()^_^

The first two Terminators and the first Robocop are classics, I highly recommend them. Skip all the other ones.
