It’s already started to come back in the truck scene. There’s for sure the over the top frame off builds still but A LOT of people are going back to just a level kit or a very very small lift paired with stock wheels and maybe a 35” or 37” mud tire and that’s it. No powder, no lighting, no custom wrap or paint job.

I’ve been doing OEM plus with a bit of jdm flare on domestic cars for years. It looks good. Domestic cars are cheap just as good and easier to mod most of the times.

More basic builds plz. Love to see realistic builds around put together by someone eating ramen in order to afford parts (let's be real, we have all been there lol). Wide bodies and crazy things are cool and but I am more impressed by the small things people come up with. Been watching Initial D lately and the builds from that anime are exactly what I want to see more of. I get all giddy when people tell me about their weird niche part that signifies a huge thing from Japan car culture that nobody would recognize otherwise.

The BEST bang for buck car right now has to go to the c5 corvette. They’re track focused monsters, Chevy was doing pretty well in endurance racing with their c5r. And they take boost like a dream. Criminally underrated car and I’m starting to see more people notice You can also get clean ones for sub $20k still. Some might be higher miles but most owners will be old men who babied it anyways

Shhhh not too loud! lol. I think a lot of people look at C5's and think "slow old grandpa car"... Then they realize with a few inexpensive mods you can make close to 400 hp pretty easily. It's a waaaaaaay faster car than people think lol, even at over 20 years old. Super fun cars, definitely criminally underrated.

I’ve always made sure my interior was well put together and clean and hope that trend catches on for 2024 as well. Driving a fully stripped car is not as comfortable and the interior weight isn’t that much weight. Certain race cars get exceptions but regular weekend cars should still have clean interiors(in my opinion). I even built a hotwheels key that matches my car when I got bored for another small cool addition to driving it

I hope for the OEM+. I always loved car audio. Won some SQ competition in my old hyundai Accent. No engine all sound. Left that aside for a while. Installed my setup after that in my speed3. Wanted to go back in the audio meet and it was all the kind of setup that you showed in the video. It was no longer enjoyable. 145-150dB in car @ 30hz is an amazing feeling for the time of a song. But when you walk by those system blasting a 150-155 outside is mhe. I'm still a firm beliver that getting goosebumps while listening at your favorite song in a well ronded system is one of the most amazing feeling in the world! Pure curiosity what is your favorite SQ demo song? 🚗💥💨🔥

I'm still 16 and i'm all ears for advice

Here's my prediction for 2024 - Mods that are subtle, or "stealth". In other words, mods that are not screaming "Look at me! Look at me!" and mods that you don't see unless you're looking closely. They could be performance, interior or aftermarket wheels or body accessories that look like they came from the factory. Not the bolt-on wide body kits or outrageous wheels. It's the same thing that women like in men, that quiet confidence not the guy who's clothes scream "Look at me!". Stealth mods, quiet confidence.

I think functional track mods are what people will admire. Show cars have been done back to front and back again. The audience is maturing and I have seen a huge influx of straight line speed and/or show guys sell their car and buy and elentra n just because it handles amazing (love or hate the looks). They are going to start ooing and awing over functional aero and SS breaklines. I also see heavily modded electric cars becoming cool, much as I hate myself for typing it.

Audio only makes sense in older cars or cheaper cars that dont already have good audio. Factory sound systems are clean and simple these days while doing a great job. So theres overall less of a reason for it. Oem+ is what's big for the 90s cars because a lot of people are trying to preserve then and keep them clean. Interior usually looks like shit if you go too far. Steering wheel, seats, some lighting etc is the most i see. Exterior and performance will always be the bread and butter of a proper car build.

That title is such an obnoxious clickbait, but now that I'm here, I hope the main trend for 2024 is performance-first builds and the decline of stance/show-no-go in general. I would love to see air suspension become a non-thing, for example. I know it won't happen, but I can dream

"time attack" style was already once a thing. They called them "Hard Parkers". Kinda shows how little people remember from like 10 years ago. All these stance cars with big wings and such are whats left of that "scene". Here's my thoughts - Build what YOU like. Who gives a shit if it's popular or not. If you're doing it for likes/shares/algorithms you'll never enjoy it. But as long as their are channels continuing to try and push their narrative like a political agenda on what THEY think is how the car scene should be, it'll continue to be trash. I've stopped going to monthly cars and coffee gatherings, the weekend night gatherings, and most shows (big and small) because most of these people aren't even car people anymore. They are the insta-generation and they are only trying to get some semi-viral clip or get

I hope interiors become a thing. I want to make my old nissan mirca feel and look like a maybach. Love the way it drives. Just hate interior so much.

Years ago... Article... Yes in a thin paper book, called Magazine... Best Tuner Car's.. who showed.. Cobb one example etc.. Shops who Build them and the Aftermarket "🇺🇸" they built here... Basic... 0-60, 0-100, Braking test, Slolem course,, last ... A Track course, Fastest Lap Times etc .. Winner is the Survivor of the Fittest... Well earned... If I remember correctly, this was Car & Driver.. please correct me if I'm wrong.. no worries... But at the end.. took a Stock.. C5 Corvette.. With Z51 option... A Mom's Vette with options okay.. This Stock C5.. destroyed the Overall Lap times and course Records.. for all events... Hate all you want... I don't have one... I will always want one... I just can't get use to the idea of wearing a gold necklace and white shoes.. Yikes

3D printed custom designed bodykits, bodykits that dont exist on the market and would make some people beg the owners to sell the kit then it'll cost more than a pandem or libertywalk bodykit....
