This is awesome! Should be a version of this school in each state in the US.

Wow, more schools like North Star and the Ron Clark Academy need to exist! This will really make a huge difference in our communities. There is no reason why the graduation rate should have gotten worse. Where was all of the money going the past 20 years? smh

saquoiag I really hope that this plan works. These men are definitely taking the high road. What I really like about this is there is no blaming and shaming of the kids, the parents, or the teachers.

Wow! Very revolutionary! I appreciate and commend tge effort. This is a potential Avenue for kids to believe that just because they are not good at something doesn't mean they aren't good at nothing. Liberating.

Schools need to take culture into account and teach that too, the more we understand eachothers cultures and values the more we'll treat eachother with respect. And if we start with the kids, theyll grow up to be adults who arent racist, then the cycle continues. Everything starts with the youth. These men have my complete respect for what they're doing, we need more people like this in the world. And Steve is a real one for letting them share their story with the world and giving them the platform to inspire people to do the same as these guys.

Awesome. Love to see good people just trying to do good things in the world, and not getting bogged down in politics and naysayers. We could debate black and hispanic equality of opportunity for the next 20 years, produce government programs the man mentioned, and see nothing of it. But these people go out and DO what they have figured out is good for their community and the people they care about. Well done. This is what social progress should look like.

Prinnncesz: I'm not, he doesthings ti be a show off. Most times when celebrities "give" money to people in need, they write it off. The school isn't a non-profit, Steve give money it'll come out HIS pockets and he can't write it off. Steve have specific guests on his show and brag how much money he "gives" them, those are tax deductible and lowers his income.

    1. Celebrities only have so much money. 2. He gave them access to people around the country and around the world who can donate money, time, and supplies - which is more than he as one person can do for them by himself. 3. What are You donating? 4. Why are you trying to spend money you didn't earn?

kimani they didn’t FIND an object, they FOUNDED an organization. Past tense of find is found, however when starting an organization one uses “found”. For example “this video caused the FOUNDING of an organization”, or “we will FOUND the organization later” or even “These men FOUNDED an organization”. Hard to understand? I know I didn’t do too good of a job explaining it so lemme know if you’re still confused.
