I used to have the same french fry cutter, made from solid cast iron, that I used when I worked in restaurants. It's supposed to hang on the wall. You put the bowl beneath to catch the sliced potatoes.

That bottle multi tool looks REAL handy! Kinda want it.

The French fry cutter would be really good if it had interchangeable cutter plates. I usually prefer "shoestring" cut fries when I just want some French fries, but every once in a while I like to make the thicker cut "steak fries" or simple "potato wedges" to go with something, but this only allows me to cut one size of fries that appear to be somewhere in between shoestring and steak fries. I have no use for the peeler as I prefer using potatoes with the skin (I think they just taste better that way). That multitool at the end is amazing and I would genuinely love to get one of those! I notice the one you have was graduated in mL; is there one available that has cups as well (or instead)?

Used to work at a resteraunt that pressed fries every morning. The device was mounted on the wall, so you just pulll down. Could doo several hundred tatoes in 10 minutes, literally fill a 55 gallon drum of fries.

The last product seems like something very useful to bring around.

I've got a pretty cool egg mincer at home. It's called a fork. I've also got a pretty cool egg separator, it's called a hand. The problem with gadgets is they just generate a lot of unnecessary washing up which, let's face it, is tedious at best. Haha. Cheers.

The peeler and French fry cutter are older than dirt! I am 75 and I remember when I was a child my grandma having one of each!

I think we can use the blue '' boiled egg masher '' also with potatoes, bananas and avocados....or other soft foods??

*How to make the best fries* 1) Cut as many fries as you want to serve 2) Soak them in cold water to release the starch and keep them from turning brown (they won't taste as good when they turn brown and will burn) 3) Prepare oil to 365°F 4) Blanche fries(cook for three minutes then let drain) DO NOT COMPLETELY COOK FRIES DURING THIS STEP 5) Let rest until room temperature (fries will look wobbly during this step) 6) Store in refrigerator until 30-35°F 7) Cook fries for 7 minutes(or as crispy as you like) 8) Enjoy!!! Season however you like.
