@@fr2ncm9 The difference is Peter the Great invited the west to come and invest in Russia. There was a whole group of German immigrants known as the Volga Germans. Peter and Katherine the Great encouraged French and German immigration to Russia in order to modernize it. Putin’s strategy is exactly the opposite.

What did anybody do to deserve that level of hatred and evil ,how can a soldier sit in an armoured vehicle and shoot a 25 or 30mm canon at 2 elderly people that pulled up at traffic lights and froze when the bmp flew across the road in front of them, the rounds were so powerful they nearly cut the roof off the car .They elderly couple were decapited and killed instantly,i came across that clip 3 months ago from a street cam and i still cant understand how evil that mind was to even consider hurting unarmed elderly people, granted he prob didnt know who was in the car but it doesnt matter , the guy who did that i hope rots in hell, why would a mind think that way and why has no country helped like shoulder to shoulder help not just weapons ,very sad that evil is hitler level

@GT500 eh? Not really. It’s been almost 4 months with little ground really taken. And what does Russia have to show? Over 40,000 dead. Novorossiya has been taken, like Putin wanted in 2004 after the failure of political gains. Failure again in 2014. Now this. Effectively, outside of the southern coast (Odessa) n areas around there, Putin has his war goal. Which, isn’t much. He’s spent a lot of effort for such little ground. Especially seeing as he’s finally securing Luhansk n Donetsk, which have been in a stalemate UNTIL now. Like. Not that strong of a military.

All the most crucial russian oil depots and military bases within the Ukrainian reach are being picked off one by one already but the Ukrainians cannot yet do any more than that because every target of the Ukrainian side is very precalculated, as this type of weaponry is very scarce in Ukraine. Basically, every time they are about to launch a missile they have to think twice whether it's the most efficient way of using the rocket. The russians on the other side have so much of it that they don't care if it hits a Ukrainian military base, a kindergarten, or a grocery store.

This is what the future holds for the USA if we don’t get our Sutton together

NATO, where the hell are the heavy weapon systems you TALK about, but don't DELIVER in sufficient numbers? Freaking NATO logistics incompetence is costing Ukrainians their lives.

What happened? A week ago they were defeating Russia across all fronts.

What is it with American reporting on this war? Severodonetsk is slowly being lost to the Russians but it’s NOT a key defensive position; it’s on the wrong side of the river. It’s symbolic at best. In the south the Ukrainians are advancing piecemeal. Tanks etc are almost irrelevant now -the Russians are using them as armoured artillery, which doesn’t make much difference because as artillery they’re not much use.

It's about the bait, not the location. For some reason, 1/2 of Russia's total land equipment is dedicated to that one city. That much equipment in that tight of space makes it easy for the Ukrainians to chew them up with artillery.

@Damir Cicic We have a problem in the U.S.. We've idiots running government. Through rules and regulations, they've put limits on building supplies which reduce the number of homes that can be built thus material prices have skyrocketed. We simply can't build/supply enough homes to meet the demand. At the same time allowing millions of immigrants in. Health insurance. Millions including myself have health insurance, but only have access to emergency room care. There's not enough doctors to meet demand. Did I mention they are allowing millions more people in. Where will they recieve medical care.

The strength of these people is unbelievable 👏 🙏

Thanks for the U.S. aid. But that money went to the U.S. military-industrial complex for weapons that we don't see here, except for a few howitzers with the GPS removed. Other light weapons. Old APCs. The money also went to international organizations like the UN, UNICEF, etc. (I do not know where this money goes to these organizations and how they use it). We do not see this money in person. Maybe I'm wrong and $50 billion worth of super weapons are on the way.

If they are shipping stuff piece meal to the FRONT , cause out of desperation to keep the Frontline intact, they will probaly need much more AMMUNITION per Unit .. While ammunition shipped was probaly for 30 days of use.. it doesn't help if the logistic is spread far and wide .. especialy for western Ammunition . the more logistic you have to do, the more chance that logistic will not arrive to where it should be. sorry Ukraine do need help in training and especially resupply and lesson i reinforcing the positions taken.. Cause they might take positions , but pointless if they do not get resupply or reinforcements and most of all Rotation of troops .. look at some of the Ukrainian Artillery men, they are exhausted .. they have been fighting nonestop for 118 days...

Unfortunately, the western countries seem to have very little will to even ship significant arms to them. Those M777s are low end artillery from the 70s. They are not very useful. The actually useful self-propelled rocket systems aren't being provided in remotely significant numbers because of red tape Biden refuses to cut. His weakness incompetence is exactly why Putin invaded.

Russia is after the coal, oil and gas that was recently identified in Ukraine. Ukraine has 900 billion cubic meters of proven reserves of natural gas, roughly 9 billion tonnes of oil and 38 billion short tons of coal. Ukraine was beginning to access those reserves prior to the war, but Russia saw it as a threat to their fossil fuel control of Europe. Russia loves it's ability to economically punish European countries not following their lead by reducing the amount of gas and oil flowing to Europe. They can literally hold them to ransom, especially over Winter.
